"Do I want magic? I mean sure, but... I'm really concerned about the after effects."

"If you do fall ill or hurt, I can heal you," I pointed out.

Mila stayed silent, staring at the orb.

"How about let's head back first before trying this out," I suggested.

     "Yeah. Let's go."

We made sure the doors are closed before we headed back to the passageway. As we walked through the halls, our footsteps were the only noise we could hear. When we entered her room, she turned and tugged on a bookshelf to close the door. Then Mila turned to me and spoke with determination, "I'll give it a shot."

"Understood. However, how do we know how to use it?"

"With this," She said as she pulled out a rolled up scroll.

     "Is that..."

"Yep. I found it while searching for the key. In fact, this is what the key was sitting on."

"Okay then. Let's give this a shot."

Right after Mila unrolled the scroll, we began reading.

To use the key, recite the spell below. The chanter must be holding the key.

I ma eth tnadnecsed fo Sseddog Aredle

I eth tnadnecsed, esrever eth tceffe fo siht tnemtnahcne

Esaeler eth tnemtnahcne tceffe no reveohw emoc otni tcatnoc

    Won, etelpmoc ssecorp.

    Lepsid!

The direction was easy, but when we read the spell, we... failed. It was hard. We stumbled over our words and even pronounced words wrong. After many failed attempts, I start to notice something odd. Mila was about to try again until I interrupted her.

    "Wait!"

She stopped and looked at me.

    "What?"

    "Doesn't this seem odd?"

"Probably because it's in a different language."

"No. It's as if it isn't a spell"

    "If not a spell, then..."

"A chant," We breathed out in sync.

"How should we chant it? We don't have much time to write it down." Mila panicked.

"Where is your handheld mirror? The largest one."

"Oh. Hang on. Instead of a handheld mirror, how about the full length mirror?"

"Yeah. That should work. I'll hold it up and you read off of it while holding the key."

As I held the scroll up, Mila started to chant. Light began to blossom from the sphere and slowly engulfed the room in a bright warm glow, making me close my eyes. Once the light died down, I opened my eyes again to see Mila looking around in wonder.

"Do you feel any different?" I asked slowly.

"Yeah. I feel more relaxed and more powerful. Is this what you feel everyday?"

"I don't really know. I am born with magic after all."

    Mila only smiled and nodded.

"Do you wish to try it out?" I asked.

"Sure. But how are we going to get to the training grounds?"

I smiled and teleported us to the training ground. I turned to Mila to see her with a look of surprise.

"Let's try it now shall we?"

Mila nodded. She held up her hand to command an element. Right after, a dummy was blasted off of it's stand. I smiled. Space. A rather hard element to use, but very powerful. What I didn't know was that anyone can wield all elements.
