'I'm ready to go.' I said to my parents. 'Okay, well have fun honey. If there's anything wrong, just call me and we'll be there in a second. Also don't forget to thank Jack's mother for bringing you.' My mom said. I swallowed. I told my mom Jack's mother would be bringing me. If I told her the truth, she'd never let me go. 'Yeah, thanks mom.' I said, as I walked up to her and gave her a hug. 'Bye dad.' I said, as I gave him a hug too. 'Bye son, have fun.' He said, before he opened the newspaper and started reading. I walked outside and turned on my scooter. Here I come, Jack.

I arrived at Jack's house twenty minutes after departure. I parked the scooter in Jack's garden, and leaned against a wall. It was freezing, and I rubbed my hands against each other, hoping it would somehow warm them up. I didn't even realise Jack already stood in front of me, until he said: 'hey Finn.' I lifted my head and looked into Jack's beautiful brown eyes. 'H...Hi Jack.' I said, trying my best not to blush. 'Ready to go?' He asked, holding the two bus tickets in the air. 'Yes. Oh..here's the money for the ticket by the way.' I said. I reached into my back pocket, but Jack stopped me. 'Don't worry, you don't need to pay me back.' He smiled, as he walked out of the garden. I followed, blushing.

'Are you looking forward to seeing the cast again?' Jack asked. 'Yeah, of course. Are you?' I replied, blowing my hair out of my eyes. 'Duh!' He yelled. 'Omg do you see that?' He asked, suddenly stopping. 'What?' I asked, looking around. 'Over there! Rain puddles!' He shouted, running towards them. He took one massive leap and jumped into the puddles. I giggled. 'God you are such a dork.' I said, smiling. Jack stopped and frowned. 'I...I didn't mean it in a bad way.' I said quickly. 'Well, why don't you be a dork with me then?' He asked, grinning. He walked up to me, pushing me into the puddles. I fell facedown into the dirty puddles. Jack started laughing, and jumped in beside me. We started kicking water at each other, and before we knew, we were soaked wet. 'Oh shit the bus is here!' Jack said. There it was, the red vehicle had arrived in the distance. 'Grab your stuff and run!' Jack yelled. We started running as fast as we could, and luckily we made it just in time. 'Hi.' Jack and I said, as we greeted the bus driver and gave him our tickets. The old man nodded, as a sign we could take our seat. We walked down the bus, but all seats were taken. 'I guess we'll have to stand for two hours long.' Jack said. 'Yeah.' I sighed. We walked all the way to the back, and placed our bags on the floor by our feet. All of a sudden, the bus started driving. I lost my balance and fell, right on top of Jack. 'I...I'm so...so sorry.' I said. I could feel my cheeks burning up, and I quickly stood back up. I reached my hand out to Jack, and I helped him stand up too. 'I'm so sorry for that Jack.' I said, still panicking. 'It's ok, don't worry!' Jack said, laughing his head off. I was glad he wasn't mad. 'This is gonna be a long drive.' I said, leaning against one of the seats. I don't think the girl who sat there was very happy about it though.

'We're here.' Jack said. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked outside. 'I guess so, yeah.' I grabbed my bag, plus the one of Jack's. 'Let's go.' We walked up to the exit. We thanked the bus driver and stepped out of the bus. It was even colder than before, and it had already become slightly dark. 'So, do you know how to get to Jaeden's house?' Jack asked. 'I have no idea. Let me take a look on google maps real quick.' I said. I grabbed my phone and typed in the address. 'Uh...what was the address again?' I asked, looking confused. Jack told me the same address as I typed in first, and I started panicking. The app says it's an hour walk from here to his house. 'Are you kidding me?' Jack asked, while he took my phone to take a look himself. 'Shit man. We'll never make it on time!' He said, while he began panicking too. 'Ok...uhh...We have to stay calm. Maybe if we walk at a fast pace, we could make it.' I said, trying not to look scared, so the small boy wouldn't panick even more. 'Ok, yeah. You're right. We can do this.' He said. 'Let's get going then.'

After we had walked for 20 minutes, we took a short break. 'I'm exhausted.' I said, catching my breath. 'Me too.' Jack said. I heard a slight shake in his voice, and that's when I noticed he was freezing to death. 'Omg Jack, you're freezing! Here, take my jacket. You need it more than I do.' I said, quickly taking it off. He tried to protest, but before he knew it I had put it on him. 'Better?' I asked, with a small smile on my face. 'B...better.' Jack said, smiling too. 'Are you ready to walk further?' I asked. 'Yeah, let's go.' Jack replied. I put his hand in mine, as we went on further. Only 40 more minutes to go.
