Part 21: a taste of the pavement

'And then he came back with a jar full of fireflies and he released them and it was so beautiful! And then I kissed him and we promised to go on another date soon and we just looked at the stars for the rest of our evening. It was magical!' I said. Millie, Sadie, Noah, Caleb and Gaten all looked at me with sparkles in their eyes. 'That's so romantic! We should do that once, Mills!' Sadie said, while placing an arm around her shoulder. 'Damn, all of this called me single in thousand languages.' Gaten said, laughing. 'How 'bout you, Noah? How's your love life going?' Caleb asked, throwing a piece of popcorn in his mouth. 'Wait, you guys didn't know? I've been in a serious relationship for two months now!' Noah said. 'Wait, what? Are you serious?' Sadie asked, while her eyes widened. 'Yes! My chicken nuggets and I are really happy together.' Noah replied, smirking. 'Not funny.' Sadie said, while hitting Noah's head with a pillow. 'Hey, I gotta use the bathroom. Be right back!' I said, while standing up and exiting the room. I locked the door behind me and hung above the toilet, with my curls hanging in my eyes. All of a sudden I gagged, and puke escaped my mouth and nose. I held onto the sink next to me and gasped for air. I don't know what was wrong with me, but all of a sudden I didn't feel good. I flushed the toilet and wiped my mouth with the sleeve of my sweater. My legs felt weak while I walked back to the others, my head was tumbling from side to side. 'Man, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost.' Caleb said, while I entered the room and sat down next to Sadie. 'Yeah, I'm fine.' I said, while swallowing back puke that tried to escape my mouth once more. 'You really don't look good, are you sure you're okay?' Sadie asked, while she laid her hand on my forehead. 'You feel really warm.' She said, looking at me with worry in her eyes. 'I don't know, I just don't feel good all of a sudden.' I said. 'You should go home and take a rest, man.' Caleb said. 'No, we can't let him walk all alone to his house! What if something happens? I'll go with him.' Millie said, while standing up and reaching out her hand to me. 'Thanks, Mills, but my house is only 3 blocks away from Noah's house. I'll be fine, really.' I said, while I grabbed Millie's hand and pulled myself up. 'Are you sure? I'm really scared something will happen to you..' Millie said, swiping the hair in my eyes away. 'I'll be fine, Mills. I would hug you, but I don't want you to catch my sickness. Bye guys, I had fun!' I said, as I waved goodbye and walked out of Noah's house. My legs trembled as I started walking to my home. My house was only 3 blocks away, what could possibly go wrong? I took a right, and the next thing I felt was my head hitting the pavement.

Finally an update yay! It's really hard for me to update, cause school is being a pain in the ass and well, I should really study more. 😅

What's going on with Finn? And what will happen next chapter? Who knows. 😌
