Dear Heart,
When did you decide to belong to him and not me anymore?
Sitting on my bed Jax came in to check on me. "You doing okay?"
"Yeah just been distracted lately. I miss Opie and Donna. Do you know when Opie will be back?"
"I'm not sure, but I'm sure you'll know before I do." he looked at me, "Mom sent me to pick you up for work."
"Okay let's go I'll leave Happy a note that you are taking me to the clubhouse."
"You sure you only want to leave him a note."
"Yeah, he's probably at the clubhouse anyway."
"True." we left and got to the clubhouse just as Jax got a phone call.
"Hey, I was just about to go get you." Happy said stopping in front of me.
"Yeah, Jax said mom needed to talk to me. Is she at the bar or in the office?"
"I'm thinking office." I nodded and walked to the office as Jax took off somewhere.
"Hey May can we talk really quick."
"No Tig, wheres mom?"
"She had to drive home really fast, she asked me to tell you she needs the inventory for the bar before you leave today." I started walking to the bar when he closed the door. "We need to talk."
"Fine but the door is open and we do it outside so I can leave the second we are done."
"Deal," he opened the door and we started walking to the bar, "When are you gonna stop hating me."
"When Donna is alive and you are the one dead and in the grave."
"It was supposed to be Opie and not Donna."
"Opie didn't rat."
"We didn't know that until the real rat was out, besides as a club we couldn't take the chance."
"He told the club it wasn't him but no you and Clay wanted to kill someone and Donna was the one that paid the price." I started walking away when he grabbed my arm and turned me around.
"We aren't done yet May."
"I think we are." I felt his hand connect hard with my cheek.
"You say anything and you'll be dead in less than a day after."
"Oh Tiggy you do realize you'd be buried a traitor before I was dead." he smacked me harder this time, which caused my lip to start bleeding.
"I'll teach you, whore, you never talk to a club member that way." he raised his hand again, I flinched and got ready for impact when it didn't come. I opened my eyes and saw Happy holding his wrist.
"We don't hit women Tig," he looked at me as he released Tig's wrist and Jax drove up with mom following. I had to spit out some blood and decided it would be best if I just went to the bar.
"What's going on here," Jax said walking after me. "May, what's going on." I got into the building and ran straight to the bathroom to see the damage. I had a black eye starting and a split lip. I heard a knock on the bathroom door.
"Hey May, shit who gave you the black eye." Opie was there when I opened the door.
"Opie, oh god I missed you." I jumped in his arms.
"Hey what's wrong why are you crying."
"I just missed you." He went outside and started working on his new bike.
"How are you feeling princess?" Happy said causing me to jump. "Did I scare you princess." I wiped away a couple of new tears and turned around.
"I'm fine Happy." He walked over and hugged me. Which surprised me, after a couple of seconds I hugged back. "I thought you didn't like affection."
"I'll make an exception." The smell of his cologne and leather mixed made me feel safe.
"Happy Do you have any feelings for Ima."
"No, why do you ask." I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him. He kissed me back to my surprise, picking me up sitting me on the bar. We heard someone walked in only to hear Chibs start laughing. We broke away pretty fast and I hopped off the bar.
"Don't stop on my account." He walked behind the bar and grabbed a beer. Happy walked outside with Chibs.
Shit, I kissed Happy, even better he kissed back. What do I do now?
