"you what?!"

hermione held the speaker further away from her ear, as the voice of her best friend shouted through the phone.

"harry, i-"

"wait, wait, wait... let me repeat," the chosen one sighed, "you met pansy freaking parkinson about a month ago in some random cafe and now you wanna tell me, that you're dating?
come on, you have better jokes than that, mione."

the brunette witch looked out of her kitchen window, following the thick raindrops with her brown eyes, before her pupils lost their focus and blurred out every small detail.

"harry james potter, why would i joke about something like that? i'm not like ronald, who makes the worst jokes about the worst topics."

harry chuckled at that, before he cleared his throat.

"well then, i guess i'll have to come over for dinner tonight to meet your new girlfriend."

hermione couldn't quite say if he sounded happy or concerned, probably a bit of both.

"alright harry, see you later."

"love you, bye."

and the line went dead.
and the gryffindor started panicking.

what if harry didn't like pansy?
what if they fought?
what if harry was prejudiced about slytherin, or the other way around?
what if-

"god babe, i can hear you thinking from over here," pansy yawned, sitting on the counter of the small kitchen, "stop worrying, i'm sure potter and i are grown up enough to have a civilized conversation."

she hopped from the counter, her silky nightgown, which was ironically coloured in a beautiful dark green, shimmered in the dim light and made her pale skin look even whiter.

"i know, but-" it seemed like hermione couldn't finish even one sentence today, as the slytherin pulled her by her pyjamas and crushed her lips onto the others.

apparently that was the only way to keep the gryffindor quiet and it worked everytime.

"shut your pretty mouth and use it for more interesting things." pansy winked, trying to shove her lover into the bedroom.

and hermiones knees became weak at the soft whisper tickling her ear and the shaking goosebumps down her spine.

but nonetheless, she had to prepare everything for tonights dinner, so she gently pushed pansy aside and rushed to her closet.

"sorry pans, but i have to go shopping for today, maybe harry won't be that mad, if i cooked him his favourite meal."

pansy witnessed her girlfriend amused, as hermione pulled a gray sweater over her head and threw her pyjamas on the messy bed.

then, the slytherin had to grin over their different sleeping clothes. it was stupid really, but her elegant, short silk dress seemed suddenly way to overdressed, compared to hermiones oversized, baggy t-shirt.

"wait babe, i wanna go shopping with you." she stated, dressing in a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie, before walking towards the brunette to brush through her hair with her fingers.

pansy adored the curly mess on her girlfriends head and couldn't help herself but play with little strands whenever she could.

when they arrived at the grocery store, it was still pretty empty, considering that i was 10 a.m. on a rainy winterday.

"soo," the black haired girl started, grabbing a basked with one hand and hermiones hand with the other, "what is potters favourite meal?"

"it's pizza hawaii." hermione mumbled, while examining some tomatoes.

"i'm sorry what?"

the brightest witch of her age looked up and repeated, "pizza hawaii."

pansys eyebrows furrowed. "what the hell is pizza hawaii?"

the gryffindor almost dropped her freshly picked tomatoes at that.

"you don't know what pizza is?"
and pansy shook her head slowly, though she didn't understand why it was such a big deal.

"oh my- well, i guess this will be a day full of highlights for everyone."
hermione laughed, as she guided her girlfriend through the super market.
