"that looks awful."

hermione slapped pansy playful on the shoulder.

"no it doesn't, shut up."

the slytherin smirked and leaned closer, "make me." a whisper that send goosebumps over the gryffindores spine.

hermione leaned in as well, the same mischievous smile on her face.

"duck tape."

she had to contain the laughter which almost left her lips at pansies expression.

"kinky much, are we?" parkinson grinned, though her cheeks were coloured in a nearly unnoticeable blush.

they looked back at the shelves full of christmas decoration.

after their talk in the coffee shop, pansy wanted to spend proper time with her girlfriend and decided to go through london, christmas shopping.

"honestly granger, red and gold? don't be such a gryffindor."

the black haired girl took the others hand to drag her to the opposite corner and held up another package.

hermione raised an eyebrow.
"green and sliver? and you talk about house preferences."

"it looks elegant."
pansy defeated, but laughed internally over their little discussion.

the two witches spend the rest of the rainy day in the empty streets of london, laughing, talking, never letting go of the others hand.

late in the evening, they went to hermiones flat, saying goodbye.

"it was a lovely day, girlfriend."

the brunette giggled at the nickname and nodded.

"it sure was, girlfriend, care to repeat?"

"are you asking me for a date?"

pansy playfully looked hermione in the eyes.

"uh, i'm pretty sure i am."

they slowly leant closer, eyes fluttering shut, as they lips touched ever so slightly, that they barley could feel any pressure.

"yes," the black haired witch smiled after a while, "i'd love to repeat that."
