𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓅𝑒𝓇𝒻𝑒𝒸𝓉 𝓅𝓁𝒶𝒸𝑒 ✧ 𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞

~fifteen~

(annie's pov)

my eyes fluttered open to the sensational feeling of asher's finger tips gliding down my spine. as far as i could tell by the amount of light coming through the window it was around 6pm. we slept for 3 hours? wow.

after only a few minutes of peace i heard the doorknob rattle. asher and i didn't even have time to think about moving before his mom came in.

"hey annie, do you want to-" she paused as her eyes landed on asher and i peacefully laying in each other's comfort. a smile began to form on her face but all i could feel was the immense amount of heat rushing to my face in embarrassment.

asher and i both sat up and didn't say a word, but his mom continued with a smile still stained on her face. "oh...okay. well annie would you like to stay for dinner?"

with my face still flushed bright red i looked at asher and back at his mom. "sure, if it's okay with you." i responded softly.

"of course." she assured me as she walked out and shut the door.

i looked over at asher with wide eyes but he seemed calm. he saw the expression on my face and lightly chuckled while saying "it's fine. she loves you." this made me furrow my brows a little seeing as i've only been in this house twice.

"i do happen to talk about you sometimes..." he paused and looked down at his hands. "i may have also told her what happened at the movies last night."

i couldn't help but let a smile grow on my face at the thought that he talks about me to his parents. "why are you smiling?" he asked jokingly.

i shrugged my shoulders and got up as i said "you coming?" he nodded and we headed downstairs for dinner. i was greeted by his beautiful family at the dinner table. his mom and dad made spaghetti, how did they know that is my favorite?

i sat down next to asher. avi and london were on the other side of the table and asher's mom and dad were both sitting at each end of the table.

we passed around the noodles and sauce, putting as much as wanted on your plate. then everyone grabbed a piece of garlic bread. the dinner was delicious, i'm going to have to come over more often.

after dinner avi and london raced to the living room. i looked at asher a little confused and he said "saturday night is movie night."

a smile grew on my face as i stood up and walked over to the sink where i placed my dirty plate. i then turned and made eye contact with asher "so what are we watching?"

he furrowed his brows, "you want to stay?"

"of course." this ended in asher and i racing each other to the living room this time.

i plopped down onto the couch next to london, then seconds later asher sat down on the other side of me. asher's mom turned on the tv and asked what movie everyone wanted to watch.

we all finally decided on 'emperor's new groove.' a classic. and one of my favorites of course.
