Hey this is a little late but eh better late then never. I hope you guys are enjoying your week and this coming weekend.

.I opened my eyes slowly blinking and scoping out my unfamiliar surroundings. I pushed a strand of hair out of my face and sat up.
I was in a big room with blue carpet on the floor, pale blue walls, and a big fluffy comforter on the bed I was laying in.
It felt so soft but I was curious to see where I was. I pushed back the covers and rested my feet on the floor. I slowly stood up on shaking legs and took a couple deep breathes before continuing.
I slowly made my way to the door and down the long wood floored hallway. I reached the stairs and sighed before continuing.
By the time I was at the bottom I was breathing heavily and ready to go back to bed. I shook my head and willed myself to continue going on.
I followed the sound of soft humming right to the large kitchen. I looked inside and a woman who looked about forty years old was sweeping the floor.
I watched her as I learned tiredly on the side of the door frame. As if she knew I was there she turned around and admired me kindly.
“Hello dear, I'm glad you have woken would you like something to eat?" She asked pushing me towards the table in the middle of the room.
She gently pushed me into the chair and hurried over to the fridge. “What would you like?" she asked me looking back at me.
I looked at the top of the fridge and saw a box of Cheerios on top. “Would it be alright if I had cereal?" I asked playing nervously with my hands.
She nodded and started to pour the cereal. In a few minutes she had it ready and in front of me. I smiled at her gratefully. I hadn't had a decent meal in who knows how long.
As I ate I thought of the weird dreams I had. The baby in my dreams looked similar to how I looked when I was a baby. Maybe I had a long lost twin sister?
“Oh, I know you can do better than that." a cool voice chastised from behind me. I jumped and looked behind me surprised.
My eyes only widened a little when I saw Loki standing there calmly. He smirked at me and strode across the floor with confidence.
He pulled a chair out and slid into it smoothly. Green met green as we both stared at each other curiously.
Then it clicked Loki was my father... His smirk deepened. "Ah... now you've got it!" he exclaimed sarcastically.
I shrugged my shoulders and went back to eating my Cheerios. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Loki look at me weirdly.
"What?" I asked him with my mouth filled with cereal. Loki crinkled his nose, before answering. "Well I mean where is the dramatics? Are you not upset?" he asked looking at me incredulously.
I shrugged again putting more cereal in my mouth. "Can we watch a movie later?" I asked pushing my bowl aside.
Loki looked at me confused. “What is this movie you speak of?" he asked burrowing his eyebrows. I giggled at his expression but stopped when he gave me a look.
“Do you know what a play is?" I asked him. “Ah yes... Shakespeare right?" he asked me looking relieved it wasn't crazy.
“When was the last time you were on earth?" I asked him wrinkling my nose. “During the Renaissance I think you Midguardians call it." He said getting confused again.
I sighed tiredly and face palmed. “We need an intervention right now." I said getting down off the stool. I grabbed his hand which was surprisingly very cold and pulled him around the house not knowing where I was going.
“What is this intervention you speak of Nessa?" he asked probably very confused but I waved him off until I stumbled upon the Tv room.
Inside was a large comfy couch and a 50" inch Led Tv. I dragged Loki over to a couch and made him sit down. I grabbed the remote and plopped down next to him.
Loki was a tall guy, so when i sat next to him on the couch it dipped and I started to slide towards him. I turned the Tv on and flipped through the channels until I got to the movie channel.
An old movie Top Gun was on.
I watched as Loki stared at the Tv in awe. I sat back and watched the planes on the screen in equal interest. I'd never seen this movie before.
“I like this thing you call a movie..." Loki said. I hum in agreement and start to dose off again. Before I fall asleep completely I lean my head and lean against Loki's shoulder.
Oh it has been awhile... My deepest regrets though I did have to make at least a decent grade in my math classes. That's right classes! I'm busting out of this high school gig the first chance I get.
