I arrived home and threw myself on the cobweb covered couch, still hungry despite my reasonable lunch, still in disbelief that I had met Frank Iero.

Where did I go wrong? I ask myself as I stare at the wall. Fame to homelessness. I didn't want to go to an orphanage so there was no choice than but to stay in the abandoned house. At least I was safe, or so I thought...

I had been sat in silence questioning myself for quite a while when I was alerted to a CRASH. What was that? What was happening? I couldn't do much but run away, so I tried, the door was locked, I forgot about that, so I sprinted to a window, that was where I was greeted by what I knew were after me, vampires. They wanted my soul, they wanted my blood and after my dad's whole situation, they wanted me dead. I backed away quickly, but they cornered me. I was one hundred persent screwed. 'So this is what the end feels like huh?' I asked myself, 'Pretty dull isn't it.'

As if my system had just shut down I simply accepted my fate. I couldn't do much about it, as they cornered me to my death, I heard a voice, "HEY, BACK OFF!" it yelled, I couldn't tell whether it was male or Female, it was coming from a distance, but whoever it was, wasn't having this happen to me. They all turned to look at a sixteen, maybe seventeen year old girl staring back at them in anger. She looked at me, "Sorry about these idiots" she said, as if they weren't even there "You seem to forget we could easily suck your blood right out and have you dead." One said, looking back at her in disappointment, "...---..." I made the beeping noises to match the Morse code. This girl looked at me like I was absolutely insane. "What the hell was that?" She asked me "Is your head messed up, boy?" She asked, I looked at her "uh, n.. No" I answered, worried that she was perhaps secretly on their side. "I thought you would know morse code, I figured you were training to be a rescuer or something as you seem to have encountered these vampires before" I said, she looked at me and rolled her eyes "No, I know the vampires because they lived in my neighbourhood for fricking years, they won't really hurt you, they are just pests to be honest." She said. They grinned at me, "What are you doing here anyway?" One vampire asked, I answered with "Well, I have no home, I'm an orphan and this place seemed free so..." The girl looked at me, almost in sorrow but with this look in her eyes that said she suffered more. I could easily be friends with this girl, she seemed like a fighter. I thought to myself, her dark skin shone in the moonlight and her long hair flowed in the wind, but she wasn't flaunting her apperence, she was flaunting her strength. "If you have nothing better to do, how about you join me on my travels, I'm currently exploring the deep, dark depths of the nearby cities, it's quite frightening, but by the fact you live in a creepy abandoned house and got surrounded by vampires, I'm assuming that won't bother you" she offered, I looked at her and nodded before climbing out the window and walking off with her.
