It was a quiet trip to the classroom. He was trying to start a conversation, I just
nodded my head and kept quiet, I'm normally not like this, but he was giving off a weird vibe, and it made me uncomfortable. What felt like an hour walk to the classroom was
really only 5 minutes, we had finally gotten to the door of the classroom a wooden door
with the name, 'Mr. Lacross" was written in black bold letters, it was really hard to miss
considering the fact that it stood out. The moment I entered the room it went silent,
everyone's attention turned to me. I wasn't shy or anything like that, but I really didn't
like the fact that everyone's attention was towards me and whatshisname, he never told
me his name, and if he did at some point during the "conversation" I wasn't paying
attention. "Mr. Baisley glad you could join us, and I see you found the new student,
Ms?... he asked. "oh...My name is Alexandra Hughes. Nice to meet you." I said, I
extended my hand for a handshake but he just looked down at my hand and looked
back up at me and said, "Ok Ms. Hughs. Go pick an empty seat and sit in it." I looked
around and saw two empty seats in the back, so I head back there and saw that the guy
that brought me here was also following me. I went to go sit down in the right far back
seat and he sat next to me. I turned over and decided to ask what his name was, since
it would be weird to call his whatshisname every time I need to call him.
"Hey, I never caught your name." I mentioned looking him in the eyes. "Oh my
bad, names' Dylan, Dylan Baisley." he introduced himself with a small smile on his face,
while looking over at me. I didn't say anything after that, I just turned my face towards
the teacher, the rest of the time I was writing down notes, it was just simple stuff like
basic english all over again. The entire time I can see from the corner of my eye that
Dylan kept glancing my way. At the end of class I slightly glanced at his paper and saw
that he hadn't written anything. I thought nothing of it , maybe he was one of those who
didn't really care if they passed class or not, just like in high school. When the class
was dismissed I quickly stood up and practically ran out the door to go to my second
class,
I looked at my paper where I had my classes written down, I only had to attend
two classes today, which wasn't bad and it gave me a great opportunity to go home and
finish unpacking. My next class was with Mrs. Case. I thought it was an odd last
names, but then a lot of people have weird last names. I quickly found my class, it
wasn't far away from my first class. I quickly found a seat in the back and went to sit
there. Students suddenly started pouring in, I could already see it was a small class.
Once class started the teacher walked in and started taking role call. I wasn't paying
attention since they were still in the F section, when I heard my name, I could feel
everyone's eyes on me, "Alexandra Hughes?" asked Mrs. Case. "Here!" I said in a
strong enough voice to be heard from the back, I raised my hand so she could see me.
She looked over and looked down to her list. She continued to take roll and then started her lesson.
