This happened for months, the feeling of being watched never went away. It became routine to wake up, get ready for classes, go to the cafe, finish classes, go to work and head home. The feeling never went away. After the first month of the feeling of being watched I went to the shelter and got a big dog, a rottweiler to be exact, Tony. Surprisingly I didn't need to train him to be a guard dog. He already knew to keep guard, which was great.

I also kept getting gifts, each month a new box would show up at my door. They kept changing items but the wrapping was always the same. Rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings. I stopped opening them and just added to the growing collection in the hallway closet. I kept a taser and pepper spray on me the entire time I was out. After the first day of school, I never talked to Dylan again. I saw him around the hall and would say hi but that would be it. I made more friends, Sam, Nancy, Robert and Zack. They are just a weird bunch and I absolutely love them. We would hang out whenever I had a day off.

I also ended up telling my mom about the whole feeling watched thing. She with reason, freaked out. Telling me how I should just move back in with her, to tell the police. How she can hire a private detective to find out who is stalking me. Because at this point it was stalking, it used to be just the feeling of being watched at work and at home, now it is everywhere, grocery stores, the movies, the park, everywhere. I did talk to the cops but they can't do anything about it. I have been seeing this girl named Cynthia, she's great, we have so much in common. Tony absolutely loves her. We met at the cafe, I know cliche right? I was in a rush to leave and I accidentally smacked her with the door on my way out. I profusely apologized and I went back inside and bought her coffee and muffin, we talked and found out she also goes to the same college i do. Once we left I saw that I was ten minutes late to my first class. We had agreed to meet after classes and it went after that, we talked for a couple of weeks and she asked me on a date. She asked me to be her girlfriend after our third date.

She knows about the gifts, being stalked. She goes with me everywhere whenever she can. She works in customer service, so she deals with customers over the phone all day. Some day we are both just exhausted from work and dealing with people. We'll just relax at home on the couch while watching a movie. Like what we are doing now. I have my head leaning on her shoulder just munching on popcorn and watching TV, I turn over to look at her and she turns her head to look at me with a questioning face. "What?" she questioned. "I just realized that I didn't get the feeling of being watched at work today." I told her. "REALLY?" she exclaimed surprised, she turned her whole body towards me, causing me to sit up and face her fully. "Yeah, I guess the person hopefully got bored and decided I'm not worth stalking, or maybe they got in an accident and got so injured that they can't do anything anymore." I gushed. "That's a horrible thing to say or wish onto someone, Alex." Cynthia scolded me. "Why? If you were in my position you would say the same thing. Not being able to fully relax because someone is watching your every move isn't fun." I said back. "You're right, I don't know, but it's still horrible to wish something back to someone." she said while looking straight into my soul. "Yeah, I know. I know." I voiced, while looking down at my hands in shame.

Cynthia leaned over and embraced me in a warm hug. We sat that way for a couple of seconds, and looked at her, gave her a kiss and leaned by into the couch. "Do you want to order food?" I looked over at her. "Yeah, what do you want to eat?" she said while also looking over at me. "How about indian food?" I asked. "Sure." she said while reaching over to her phone. While waiting for a food, we decided to start on our homework, we were ahead in our classes but we still didn't want to fall behind. While I was on my last sheet of work, I heard a knock on my door, I got up and took the food. Once done, I looked over and asked, " do you want to sleep over today?" She looked up at me from her work and answered, " I can't. I have to go to classes early for a project with a couple of other people." "Alright. Well I'll walk you out to your car, when you are ready to go then." I said. I started to clean up the trash and just waited for her to be done with packing.

Once she was done, we started to walk down the building stairs. We got to her car and we said our goodbyes and I started to walk into the building. I knew she was still in the parking lot watching me walk into the building. Once inside the building she drove off. I walked into my apartment and immediately locked the door. I went to my room and got everything ready to go to sleep.
