IN CROWD

Chapter XI

Excuse all errors....

Monday Becca groans as she look at her alarm clock, she was not looking forward to school today. She got out of bed with a huffed, she went to her bathroom to brush her teeth and shower. 30 minutes later she dressed in a long sleeve white shirt and acid wash jeans with white Nike air Max.
  She style her hair in a top knot bun and smiles at herself after applying some lipgloss to her lips. She grabs her bag along with her iPhone and exits her room. She went to kitchen to see what the chef had prepared. She saw a wide variety of food on display on the kitchen counter.
Her mouth waters as she sees fry breadfruit, eggs, fry cou cou, there was fried bakes and saltfish and smoke herring and fishcakes. These were all her favourites. She locks her lips as she grabs her plate and putting everything on her plate. She even grabs a cup and filling it with some lemongrass tea.
   She digs in savouring every bite, she needed to thank chef Augusta for creating her favourites. Today might be a great day. She was done eating when the twins walks in she glance at them Lina had on a pink blouse and a flowers pencil skirt with gold gladiator sandals. She had styled her hair in two buns. Her brother Eli had true religion jeans and a red and white shirt with Timberland boots. They both sat on opposite sides of her grabbing a plate and stacking the delicacies on their plates. 30 minutes later after cleaning up they all piled in Becca's gold Subaru and was on there way to school.
  20 minutes later they were pulling up to the school parking her car in the parking lot; they all got out.
"Welcome to Mora ........."

"What's going on?" Eli says pointing to a large crowd of students standing in front of the school. Becca glance at where he was pointing. She rushed over to the large group with the twins following behind. She pushes her way to the front of the crowd.
Principal Hatchet was furious at what one of the deliquents  had vandalize the school. In black spray paint someone sprayed in crowd some of the students snapped photos, some started spreading rumors on who they thought did it.
  Eli and Lina stood side by side Becca watching the principal paces back and forth. Becca snaps a few photos. She glance around the crowd. She spots Omar and his friends; he notice her watching and smiles at her, she narrows her eyes at him.
Alicia and Mona were laughing at the fuming principal. They waves at her.
"Everybody get to class now"the principal yells as the students then rushes to class not wanting to get dentition.

  Becca says goodbye to the twins as she went to her first period class. She missed Andrea they shared partly all there classes. Miss Ross sent her a message on her way to school that she and Andrea was moving to another town to stay with her mom. Andrea would be finishing form five in a different school. She couldn't believe they wasn't going to graduate together even though they weren't friends no more. She tried to message her on Instagram but her account was deleted. She even called her but her number was no longer in service.
    It was like she had dropped of the face of the earth. She tried to call her mom back but her phone went straight to voicemail. She puts her phone away and went to class. She needed to block everything out her mind to take in the new topic they were starting. Maths was the most difficult subject.
She sat in the second row in her usual seat, glance at the the empty seat beside her where Andrea once sat as they laughed and shared notes. She missed her.

   The teacher walks and starts the class putting some math problems on the board and explaining each. It was now lunch time and she was about to meet up with the twins when she heard her name being called on the intercom along with Omar, Mona, Sammy, Renaldo, Alicia, Lily and Anderson.
She rolls her eyes as he made her way to the principal office yet again. When she got there she was greeted by the principal "nice of you to join us Miss Steele. Have a seat" he says pointing at a chair that was next to Anderson.
  She gave him a close mouth smile as she sat down on the chair waiting to hear why she was here. "Let's get right to the point, which one of you decide it is funny to deface the school." He growls at them.

  No one spoke, the principal stood up and paces his office and rants on and on about defacing school property, and whoever done it should come forward or else blah blah blah he rants on. Still no one said nothing he watch as 8 students just sat there looking at him not saying anything. He sighs and says" if no one don't say who done it I'm suspending each of you for three weeks, when you come back and you don't have any names you won't graduate. "

  They all grasp he smirks at them "you may leave pick up your letters by the secretary and you can finish the rest of the day" they all scramble out the office making sure to pick up there letters. She couldn't believe she was suspended for something she hadn't done but yet she didn't want to come forward with what she knew, which means she was just as guilty as them.
She groans as placed the letter in her bag and smiles at the secretary who glared at her. She left "took you long enough"Lina says as Becca walks out the principal office. She sighs "got suspended for three weeks" she informs her.

"Yikes that got to suck" she smiles at her and went outside to have her lunch. What a day she thought.
