IN CROWD

Chapter VI

   *Things are starting to heat up at Mora High*

    *One week later*

It was Thursday Becca was on her way to her first period class, she sat in the second row going over the homework that was given. She hears giggling at the back of the class when she sees Alicia and Mona giggling at something on her cellphone.
  Alicia gave her a wink she turns back but the giggling only stop when the bell rang and the rest of the students and teacher came in.

Wonder what they was giggling at. Where is Andrea today?

  45 minutes later she was making her way to her other class when Sammy blocks her "have you seen the video".

Scrunching her eyebrows together she asks "what video?"

"Your home girl" that was all he said before he ran off to catch up with his friends, at that very moment she heard the chime of an incoming message to her phone but she wasn't the only one when she look at around she saw all the students looking at there phones.
  One student came running towards her " your friend for mad skills"
She clicked on the link in the message which brought her to a porn site .

What the hell

She was curious so she click the video that was up and saw none other than Andrea her former friend engaging in sexual intercourse. She was shock she glance up at her phone everyone was still glue to their cells.

"Some friend you have there Rebecca" Mona says passing her in the hallway "but then again you are not friends"

  "You had something to do with this didn't you, you uploaded the video"

She laughs "why would I do that"

"Revenge, Andrea slept with your boyfriend so you did this to get back at her."

"What if I did but I'm not saying I did but if I did you have no proof I did".

" You are sick and twisted individual you that right"

She laughs again"stay in a child's place you don't want to get hurt do you" she says walking away.

    Becca stood frozen looking at Mona as she disappeared through the crowd. She scrolled through Instagram and saw pictures of last night. The in crowd had a party. She scrolled she saw pictures of Mona and Alicia dancing, Omar and his friends and One with Andrea she in the middle of two guys. She couldn't see the guy in the video but there was no way identifying him but the video had to take place at the party.

  Someone had to see who did the video, she puts her phone in her back pocket, she never cut school before but today was one of those days, her friend need her even if they wasn't friends. She ran to the parking lot going to her car. She drove to her house.

  She parked her car and got out, she walks up the driveway to the house. She knocks the door and Miss Ross answers "Rebbeca, Andrea has locked herself in her room not even talking to me. Can't believe someone raped my baby."

Rape

"She was rape"

"Yes, a black RAV4 pulled up this morning around 6 am and one of the occupants pushed her out. I was just arriving home from work" she crys.

"I try to be a good mom to her, she asked me if she could go hang out with some friends and I said yes, she was beaten really bad and was bloodied, I carried her in the house and I got her cleaned up."

Becca stood there listening to Andrea's mom, "she woke up 30 minutes barely could talk but I did what I had to do I called the police, they ask her some questions but she didn't want to say who did it".

"Do you think she knows who did it?"

Miss Ross nods "I think she knows but she is afraid of whoever it is. She didn't want to go to the hospital so I had to do the rape kit here"

I always forget that her mom is a nurse.

   "The sick thing about this whole thing they filmed it" Becca says.

"Do you know any of the children who was at the party who had a grudge on Andrea"

Should she say that she might have one person in mind but she wasn't really sure . Mona could just be playing mind games with her.

   "No but I could find out" Miss Ross nods "tell Andrea I would be back later to see her" with that she was out the door heading back to school. How she going to find out who hurt her friend.
  She was back at school in less than 20 minutes, the video chatter had already died down and everyone was retreating to their classes.

Her phone chimed in her back pocket she looks at the message.

If you won't leave it alone I would make you disappear..

"Hey" she was startled almost dropping her phone.

"Jumpy I see" Sammy says coming to her line of vision

"Why you keep appearing and disappearing"

"I'm Houdini"
She rolls her eyes, "were you at the party"

"I was but I was wasted didn't even know how I got home either Omar or Renaldo dropped me off".

"I heard my name" Omar says joining the conversation.

"Oh hey Becca" he says it has been two weeks since he was at her house, "hey"she says.

"What are you guys talking about?"Omar asks looking at both Becca and Sammy

"The party" they both said.

"That party was lit" Renaldo says adding his two cents. "Andrea didn't deserve nothing she got, whoever did that won't get away with it. I would make sure of it" he says walking away.

"Where you going" Sammy calls after him .

"To find out who did it"

"He plays to much" Omar says.

"So have you talk to her"Omar asks her.

"No, but I spoke to her mom she talked to the police and they are doing a investigation and I think they would be interviewing everybody who was at the party".

They both nod. "My hands are clean so they can ask me anything" he says and Sammy nods.

"Rumour has it that it wasn't guys from our school"

"You're being serious"

"That's what I heard."
Bell rang and they all was heading to there class, "can we tag along when you going to see her"

"If you want"

  Was she doing the right thing by letting them tag along, can she trust them and who in hell send that message, she was going to the police station after school.
