"So, did you pass?" Shoot asked, he turned to you with a hopeful look in his eyes. You looked at him, your eyes getting watery.

"I PASSED!" you pointed to the board, showing that you were number 23. "Where are you at, Todoroki?"

"I got number one," he replied, making your stomach drop. Number one? So he got everything right?! "But this means you can go on the trip," he smiled at you, "I'm glad we get to see such a beautiful place together."

"I am too! I've never been, ugh, we gotta set up a plan for the whole day!" You said, "Can we go to the library during lunch to look up the place?"

Todoroki modded, "of course, but we could always do that after school, y'know?"

"Oh yeah, you're right! Let's do that instead!"

The rest of the day went pretty smoothly, Aizawa decided to give an easy day since the whole class studied hard, which consisted of watching a movie, that they needed to take notes on, then turn in for extra credit. It was an easy grade. At the end of the day, he ended up talking about the trip again, and explained how there will be groups and nobody will be wandering off alone.

"Hey, Y/N, Todoroki!" You turned to see Midoryia and Uraraka running towards you, "Do you want to join our group?"

"Oh, we planned on just being a group of two." Todoroki stated, "Sorry Midoryia,"

You glanced at Todoroki, noticing the fake smile that was on his face. You could tell it was forced, which confused you. Aren't they friends? Before Midoryia could even respond, Todoroki lightly grabbed your hand and walked away, and you slowly followed.

"Todoroki, why did you say no?" you asked, which forced him to look at you. "Everything is always better in a group,"

"I just thought you wanted it to be just us? That's why you wanted to make the list of sights you wanted to see." He said, "Plus, what if they don't want to see the same things you do?"

"Oh, you're right," you muttered, "Well, do you want to go to a cafe and plan this out?" you asked, noticing that Todoroki was still holding your hand in his, his fingers lacing with yours. Your stomach couldn't help but flip with the subtle action. You couldn't lie, Todoroki could be a very caring person, not to mention that he was one of the most attractive boys in the school. There's been countless amounts of times where you would notice girls glaring at you for always being with him, or then completely ignoring you and staring right at him like he was a God. You also liked that he didn't flinch away from your scarred arm, it was almost like he wanted to hold the hand that had the scar on it more, almost as if he was silently saying he accepted you for who you were, just as you accepted him.

"So, you want to see the waterfall last?" Todoroki said, writing it down on the piece of paper.

"Yes! We gotta save the best for last!" you stated, setting your chin in the palm of your hand, leaning forward a bit. "They're the most beautiful thing I've ever wanted to see."

"I'm sorry, but it's hard for me to agree when you're right in front of me." He stated, his eyes meeting yours. You could feel a blush rise on your cheeks, your breath getting caught in your throat from the unexpected comment. "I- T-Thank you," you replied, your hand covered your face, hiding the very clear blush that submerged your cheeks.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have put you on the spot like that, It was just the perfect opportunity." he smiled at you, clicking the pen and setting it on the table. "Do you want a cookie? I'm going to go get one for myself,"

"please," your voice was a bit muffled from your hand. Once you heard his steps get farther from you, you removed your hand from your face and grabbed your iced coffee, taking a sip from it. That was the first time a boy complimented you. The heat on your cheeks was still there, which made you drink the coffee faster, hoping the cold drink would rid you of the blush. It almost did, until the same half and half haired boy came back to the table, making your nearly clear cheeks pink again. He handed you a cookie, which had a pink heart on it and the word "cutie" written in it. "I'm gonna die from your cuteness." you said, picking the treat up from the table.

Todoroki let out a laugh, shaking his head, "Don't say that,"
