EDITED
It's been a week since you've went to school, you locked yourself up in the room and switched your phone off. You haven't left the room since that night, the fear that consumed your body made you shake to the point to where you couldn't stand. You didn't even have the heart to tell your mother what happened, it made you sick to your stomach to think about.
You nearly jumped out of your bed when you heard a light knock at your door, your mothers soft voice coming through, "y/n, honey, a friend from school came to see you. He said he's bringing your makeup work," your blood ran cold, you pulled the covers over your head. Before your mind could start thinking of scenarios of Todoroki walking through the door, a familiar voice filled the empty void.
"You better not get me sick when I step in your room," Bakugou. The door opened, you heard hit footsteps enter the room, but you didn't pull the covers down. You could hear him walk over to your desk, the papers plopping down on it. Then you could hear the creaking of the chair, signaling that he sat down. It was silent for a moment, before you heard him let out a sigh.
"What happened after the trip?"
After there was a long silence, he spoke again, "You don't have to tell me, but the scratch on his face is pretty nasty and everyone's been asking about it. I just wanted to make sure you're okay."
You slowly propped yourself on your elbows, "I-I'm okay, for the most part." you whispered, pushing yourself up more, allowing the blanket to slowly fall down your body. Bakugou's eyes widened, getting up from the chair and taking the few steps towards you. You could tell he was being cautious, lifting his hand to lightly grab your chin between his thumb and finger, tilting your head up.
"He fucking attacked you?" He said, his voice raising a bit, making you flinch at his words. "Y/N, you're so stupid." He whispered, letting go of your jaw and setting his hand on your head, pulling you into his chest as he sat down. "When are you coming back to school?" He asked.
"Monday," you whispered, your eyes starting to water at the thought of seeing Todoroki again. You had to sit right beside him all day, there was so way to avoid him. You didn't notice that your body was shaking again, until Bakugou wrapped his arm around your shoulder and hugged you tighter.
"I'll meet you here, you better be ready when I get here." His words brought you comfort, it was almost like he wrapped you in a million blankets, and held you closer than anyone has ever had before.
"I will, I promise." You couldn't help but give him a smile, he was being so sweet, putting his usual demeanor aside to make sure you were comfortable. You didn't know how to thank him enough.
You heard your phone buzz, making you jump. It's now Monday morning and you just turned your phone back on, you could feel your heart racing in your chest. You already had 500 texts from Todoroki, and just as many calls from him. You were too afraid to open it, not wanting to see what he's said. You glanced at your phone, seeing it was Bakugou. You clicked the power button again, turning the screen dark again.
You walked to the front door, opening it to reveal the blond, his hands in his pockets as he looked at the street. "D-do you want some b-breakfast?" You asked, looking down at your hands, picking at the loose skin around your nails. It was a habit that you had since you were young, but after the week that's past, it's only gotten worse.
"Sure," he grunted, stepping into your house. He took his shoes off, following behind you to the kitchen. "Good morning," he stated, looking at your mother.
"Good morning Bakugou!" Your mother smiled at him, "You guys should probably take this on the go, I don't want you to be late!" you said, she just finished mixing the formula for your brother's bottle, testing the liquid before putting it in his mouth. Bakugou nodded, reaching over and grabbing a pancake, taking a bite out of it. Your eyebrows rose, mouth dropping. How can someone eat a plain pancake?
"Standing there looking stupid won't get us to school on time," he barked, walking back to the front door. You heard a snort come from your mother, she turned before you could glare at her. You quickly catch up to Bakugou, grabbing your backpack and slipping on your shoes. When he reached for the door, your hand reached out, almost to stop him. The last time you left out the door, he was there waiting on you. Bakugou noticed the action, his free hand wrapping around yours, giving you an assuring glance. You couldn't help but smile, following him out the door. Maybe going back to school won't be as bad.
NOTE! Please don't hate Shoto Todoroki for the character he is in the book, he is an actual angel so pls don't hate him.
