One day later, the police discover new leads about Alya's death. They find stab wounds on her body, which causes them to believe she was already dead before her plunge into the water. They contact her parents to let them know she is the victim of murder.
Alya's parents contact Marinette's parents to tell them the truth that surrounds Alya's murder. Marinette's parents decide not to tell Marinette about her best friend's doom. They see no reason to alarm her when she seems so happy now.
Marinette can tell something troubles her parents but does not ask them about it. She figures it must be bad news since they cry so much now. She focuses on the days until she meets her secret admirer face to face.
Adrien patiently waits for the day he reveals himself to Marinette. He writes her another two letters. He plans to send one to her today and the other to her within a few days.
Somewhere across town, Luka smirks because he thinks his plans turn out to be just perfect. He has no reason to believe otherwise. He knows Adrien sends the notes and gifts to Marinette, so he intends to use this to his advantage.
Marinette attends school but frowns as Adrien arrives in class. She notices he ignores her, but cannot figure out why. She thinks it strange since they are best friends.
Adrien notices Marinette is quiet today. He wonders what brought that on anyway. He would ask her, however, the class is about to start. He decides to ask her about it later.
After school, Marinette gathers up her things and sees a note inside her locker. She puts it inside her backpack. She does not see the green envelope which is already inside it. She goes home, does her homework, and takes out both envelopes. She opens the first envelope since she wonders what it says this time.
Marinette reads the note while she smiles as usual. She sees two more purple roses came with the letter. She puts them inside a vase of water before she writes in her journal.
Meanwhile, Adrien spies on Marinette, and is glad she does not notice him. He hides under the patio furniture again. He waits until she reenters her room before he sneaks back home.
The following is the letter for those who wish to read it:
Dearest Marinette,
Another letter shall arrive from me within a few days.
Please, make sure to leave some cookies out for me the day I come, so that we might share them. Also, a few croissants and some milk would be nice too.
I love you, very much! Green and black are my favorite colors which is why I purposely My Marinette, Bluenette, bluebell, Mari, princess you are the one I adore and love.

Marinette sees the second envelope but shreds it immediately. She could care less what it says. She sketches in her sketchbook for a while. She goes to assist her parents in their bakery.
