Two years later, Adrien smiles at his girlfriend Marinette, whom he loves more now than he has in years! He thinks their relationship might not have gotten to a romantic start, but he intends to change it.
Marinette squeezes his hand as they enjoy the Jagged Stone concert together from the picnic blanket. She thinks it is great how she gets to spend time with him more now that his father gives him a less busy schedule. She wonders what brought on this sudden change.
After the concert, Adrien and Marinette hear fireworks in the distance. They both admit this date is way more romantic than their first one was years ago. They enjoy macaroons, some cheese slices, and a few grapes. They stand together as the stars shine brightly in the sky.
Adrien believes each star has a story to it. He notices they twinkle as if they have something unique to share. He smiles when he recalls how he first met Marinette.
" Adrien's flashback..."
Adrien sees a pretty, short, girl with dark blue hair and bluebell eyes on a class field trip. He likes her smile right away. He notices as she speaks to the Burnette with the glasses.
He introduces himself and shakes hands with them. He grins when the Bluenette hands him a napkin with her number on it. He shows his surprise when he tucks the note inside his pocket.
When everyone leaves the bus, the teacher divides them up into groups. He is in the same group as Marinette. He breathes a sigh of relief that he is not with Chloe. He dislikes the blonde because she gets on his nerves.
" End of Adrien's Flashback"...
Marinette lays her head on Adrien's shoulders as she rest. Adrien wraps his arms around her and drapes a blanket over her. He carries her home and sets her down on the sofa. He kisses her forehead before he heads home.
Sabine watches Adrien leave. She believes it is so cute how well he and her daughter get along with each other. She breathes a sigh of relief that Marinette has such a good boyfriend.
