Adrien smiles at Marinette. He is glad to spend time with his fiance. He knows her parents, along with his father, and Natalie approves of their engagement, but he feels nervous about the upcoming wedding.
"Lila is untrustworthy, so she is not on the invitation list, " Adrien says.
"Oh, that is fine, because she is rude anyway." Marinette agrees.
"Well, it is good we agree on something, then," Adrien remarks.
The two agree wedding plans are a bit overwhelming. It is not like it is every day you plan something so huge. The couple is not sure how soon to have it, or who all to invite.
Two weeks later, they set a date for April fourteenth!
Four months later, Natalie walks out of the mansion without any goodbye or notes to explain her absence. It seems she chose to move out.
Gabriel Agreste goes to search for her. He cannot find her, so he returns to the mansion upset. He cannot seem to get over the fact she actually went away.
Adrien notices Natalie's absence makes his father sad, and takes a toll on his health.
One day later, when Adrien meets up with Marinette he tells her the bad news.
"Marinette, Natalie left and father worries about her," Adrien says.
"When did she move out?" Marinette asks.
Adrien answers, "She just left yesterday."
Marinette replies, "Should we postpone the wedding?"
Adrien shakes his head no. He makes the suggestion they get eloped.
Marinette gives him a look of surprise but agrees to it. She feels rather excited about marrying Adrien Agreste. She cannot believe the wedding is today! Talk about last minute and rather sudden.
Adrien takes Marinette to the courthouse. When they arrive the judge is about to ask them about the witnesses, but Luka walks past with Kagami. The two want to get eloped as well, so they agree to be the witnesses to Adrien and Marinette's marriage. Then, Adrien and Marinette will stay to see Luka marry Kagami.
The judge smiles, "Well, Adrien Agreste, do you agree to take Marinette Dupain-Cheng to be your lawfully wedded wife, to honor her, love her, and be with her for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, until death do you part?"
"Yes, I do!" Adrien says.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng, do you agree to take Adrien Agreste as your lawfully wedded husband, to honor him, love him, and be with him for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
"Yes, I do!" Marinette says.
"Well, then you may exchange the rings," The judge says.
Adrien slips a ring on her hand. Marinette slips on his hand.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride," The judge says.
Adrien kisses Marinette! Kagami and Luka cheers!
"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Agreste!" Kagami says.
"Yes, congratulations you two!" Luka remarks.
Now for Lukagami's wedding...
The judge performs the same ceremony as before but with Luka and Kagami this time around.
"Luka Cuffaine, do you take Kagami Tsurugi to be your lawfully wedded wife, to honor her, love her, protect her, be with her for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
"Yes, I do!" Luka says.
"Good," The judge remarks.
"Kagami Tsurugi, do you take Luka Cuffaine to be your lawfully wedded husband. to honor him, love him, be with him for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
"Yes, I do!" Kagami says.
"Well, then you may exchange the rings," The judge says.
Luka slides the wedding band onto Kagami's left ring finger. Kagami slides a wedding band onto Luka's left ring finger.
The judge says, "I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Cuffaine, husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride,"
Luka kisses Kagami! Adrien and Marinette cheers!
"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Cuffaine!" Adrien says.
"Yes, congratulations to you both!" Marinette says.
Now, Adrien and Marinette are not sure how to break the news of the elopement to their parents. They agree to keep it a secret for a few days.
