A few hours later
The sun is now going down while Finny, Leah, Obessey, and Stayput are back on track and are using the path that Obessey found a while ago. Leah is leading ahead while Finny and Obessey just follows her.
Finny: Come on guys! We're on a roll! It shouldn't take too long before we-
Leah: Darn! *Growls at something*
Leah found a cave, but there's one problem, and that problem is that the cave is VERY dark on the inside. Leah maybe a grymp, but she doesn't like the fact that she doesn't have proper night vision yet since she's (probably) young preteen just like Finny.
Obessey: *Sees the cave* Oh boy!
Stayput: So Leah, you're still happy that we saved you?
Leah: *Growls* 😡
Stayput: Uh, good to have you back! Don't mind me, I'm a babbler! Carry on! <:3
Leah goes in the cave first before everyone else does get in the cave first. Obessey looks around confused.
Obessey: So dark
Stayput: Uh, anybody got a torch?
Leah continued walking until the inside of the cave started glowing, revealing to be a cave full of crystals that can glow and show reflections along with some glowing mushrooms. Everyone becomes amazed at the sight of it all.
Obessey: This isn't so bad.
Leah: *Looks for Finny* Finny? Are you there? *Sees her own reflection, freaks out, tries to attack it, but only ended up hurting her forehead* Ow! >_<"
Finny: I'm here! Hey, check it out!
Finny shows up in the reflections before showing his actually self to Leah to show her that his stripes and dots are glowing again.
Leah: *Laughs*
Stayput: Now why can't I do something like that?
Obessey: Because you're a parasite and NOT a glow worm. *Follows Finny*
Finny: Follow me! I'll light the way!
Stayput: Oh yeah I'm a parasite and you turned to be quite the host. Just because I live on ya doesn't mean I like the neighborhood.
Finny, Leah, Obessey, and Stayput stayed close together as Finny continues to lead the way. However, Obessey got tired again as he tries to catch his breath.
Leah: Are you ok?
Obessey: Yeah-yeah... I'm fine...!
Leah: *Goes to Finny* Finny, Obessey needs a break.
Obessey: 😀
Finny: *Gets an idea* No problem!
Finny finds a big wide empty spot, which he goes into while Leah, Obessey, and Stayput follows Finny.
Finny: This looks like a good place to camp for the night!
Stayput: Here?
Finny: *Grabs a crystal* Come on guys, give me a hand! :3
Leah: Trust me, he knows what he's doing.
10 minutes later
Finny, Leah, Obessey, and Stayput are now sitting around a camp fire that everyone helped Finny make.
Stayput: You nestrians sure know how to make things cozy, do ya?
Finny: You bet!
Leah: *Sighs in happiness* We should reach the peak in the morning.
Obessey: But the flood...... It seems unstoppable... Maybe we're not destined to survive this dislodge, never tought about that... All my life people have been making fun of me, saying I was good for nothing, I never fitted in anywhere... Now they don't want me on the ark... I'm just-
Stayput: Fat?
Obessey: No! Doomed...
Finny: Don't say that! We can't give up now, we'll have a rest, then we'll head up to the peak, and signal for the ark.
Stayput: Yeah, come on big guy. Relax a little, we got a long way to go.
Obessey: I got a long way to go. *Yawns* You're just sitting up there.
Stayput: *Also yawns*
Obessey was going to sleep, but it wasn't long before Obessey starts having trouble getting comfortable in order to fall to sleep.
Stayput: Oh come on, I'm getting seasick in my sleep up here...
Obessey: Sorry, the ground, is hard as a rock!
Stayput: Maybe that's because it IS a rock, huh?
Finny thinks of something before tying two glowing mushrooms together, which gives Finny a great idea to solve this problem.
A few minutes later
Finny made everyone, even himself, some hammocks for them to sleep in for the night.
Leah: I told you he knows what he's doing.
Obessey is currently rocking Stayput to sleep as if he's a baby or something.
Stayput: No doubt... Don't stop Obessey... Keep on going...
Obessey: Okay. *Keeps rocking Stayput*
Finny: *Gets in the hammock he made for himself feeling tired before stretching and yawning* Goodnight everyone...
Leah, Obessey, and Stayput: Goodnight Finny.
Meanwhile on the ark
It's raining at the moment while Dave is thankfully still controlling the ark and continues going straight to the mountain, where Finny and Leah are actually in right now.
Dave: You know, we're doing alright here. They can't be far.
Hazel: ... I wonder if they're still alive at all... I've ALWAYS been so hard on her. Trying to prepare her for life, you know, make her tough... And now... *Starts crying*
Dave thinks for a moment before getting off the stack of crates and grabs the first one before using it as a stepping stool and stands next to Hazel, but his stripes and dots also started glowing just like Finny.
Dave: Hey, I promise my son that I would get him on the ark and I'm going to keep my word. I just know that Leah is with him.
Hazel: You um... You glow...!
Dave: I know, I know...
