The next day
Dave and Finny are now walking through a forest still looking for the gathering. Luckily when Dave and Finny moved through a few leaves they see ALL of the animals sitting down on each side of the light brown path.
Dave and Finny: Whoa!
Dave: I think this is it.
Finny: *Stops smiling and looks at the storm clouds* Looks like the flood will be here soon...
Dave: Calm down Finny, they wouldn't make us come all this way without some kind of a plan! *Nervously laughs* Right...?
Finny: -_-
Dave and Finny starts looking around for a good place to sit. Dave finds a spot behind two elephants (I'm sure that the elephants won't poop on Dave and Finny).
Dave: *Sits down behind the elephants with Finny* Good spot.
Finny: *Sees two unusual black cats that had gold markings and small tails (grymps) as the younger one looks at him* Hey.
Younger grymp: *Looks away* Hm...
As a bunch of animals continues to talk, someone is telling them to be quiet. However, they don't...
???: QUIET!!!
Finny: *Gasps in surprise*
Everyone looks at the stone as two gorillas (one male and one female) and a female flamingo walks on it.
Female flamingo: Behold, the king of the animals!
The two gorillas and the flamingo gets out of the way to reveal that the king of the animals is a lion. Everyone is amazed at this as the lion sits down.
Dave: *Quietly talks to Finny* Huh, look at this fellow Finny. Everything *GENTLY pokes Finny's trunk* will be fine!
Lion: I'm afraid I have some terrible news...
Dave: AGH!!! I KNEW IT!!!
Everyone (except Finny): 0-0"
Finny: *Whispers to Dave* Dad, everybody's staring!
Dave: o-o"
Everyone (except Finny): 0-0"
Dave: <:3
Finny: -_-"
Lion: ... But it gives me GREAT hope to see ALL you animals seeing you standing together as one! *Looks at the predator side of the gathering* The flesh eating carnivores!
Everyone (Only the carnivores): *Growls in glee*
Lion: And the vegetarian herbivores...
Everyone (Only the herbivores): *Whimpers in fear*
Lion: It is together we shall stand up against the up coming events. *Clears his throat* You MAY have noticed the weather as been a LITTLE erratic lately and you MAY have certainly asked yourself, "What might happen next?"
Everyone: *Thinks about that question*
Lion: A FLOOD!!!
Dave: AGH!!! *Holds Finny close to him*
Lion: SO GREAT THAT IT SHALL COVER THE EARTH, ENGULFING, AND DESTROYING EVERYTHING IN ITS PATH!!!
The monkeys (The ones that are in the gathering): Oh no!
The song birds and the giraffes: *Gasps*
Lion: THERE SHALL BE NO SURVIVORS!!!
Someone in the gathering: Hey mister! What's that boat-shape-thing behind ya?
Everyone: *Looks at the boat that someone was asking about*
Lion: Oh! Yes yes! I was getting to that point! *Clears his throat* There's WOULDN'T be any survivors if it wasn't for the very nice human called Noah.
Male crocodile: Noah???
Lion: He's building a HUGE ark! A ship to keep us animals safe until the flood has past.
Everyone: *Sighs in amazement*
Dave: I told you they had a plan!
Finny: -_-
Lion: *Thinks* I probably should've started with that... Well! I, the king of the animals has been appointed captain of the ark by Noah himself. He put me in charge ALL animal affairs. *Grabs a list of rules from the flamingo* So! Noah has some rules... First of all, there is a ban on carnivores eating herbivores.
Everyone (only carnivores): WHAT!?
Antelope: *Laughs* I should think so too! >:3
Lion: He seems pretty serious about that... Sadly...
Dave: Hey! Let him go! *Looks at the lion* Uh, excuse me!
Lion: Yes...?
Dave: Does that ban start now or when we board the ship?
Lion: *Looks at the list* The ban starts now.
Dave: *Looks at the tiger that was about to eat Finny* See? I told you!
Female tiger: *Sighs in disappointment and drops Finny on the ground next to Dave*
Dave: Aaaand?
Female tiger: *Sighs in disappointment before pulling a perri dog out of her throat*
Perri dog: Oh my! >_<"
Lion: ... And finally ALL animals are welcome on the ark!
Everyone: *Cheers*
Dave: Yes! *Happily hugs Finny*
Lion: ... As long as you're on Noah's list.
Everyone: HUH!?
Lion: See you tomorrow at the check in! *Leaves*
