Arabella had too much to lose, her children, her husband, those were two things she never dreamed of having even before Jaime, before Luca. She wanted to fight for them, she needed to fight to see her son again, reunite him with his siblings. The pain of knowing him was aching her heart but she held a steady stance even in her paralysed state.
It was true she was scared, terrified in fact but she knew the woman stood before her was not her mother, she was a monster, a walking dead maniac that only wanted the tiniest taste of her daughters blood.
Arabella's legs trembled as the Knight King stepped aside allowing the daughter and mother to truly look at each other for the first time since her death.
Arabella didn't feel her veins turn black, she didn't feel her inner darkness rush through her blood, she didn't feel the anger and blood thirst creep up to her when her mother reached her full eye sight.
"Mother" She seethed her blood boiling when the words left her lips.
The Knight King tilted his head eyeing every small feature that the young girl held, she was so small for a girl that held many powers.
Arabella's grip tightened around her sword when she took one small glance at the pools of blood that sunk into the snow, pools and pools of it surrounding her and the dead.
She needed to kill the Knight King and her mother, if it is the last thing she does, she knew that's what her goal was, but as she stood here before them the rage and hunger fuelled her.
She raised her sword it glistening against the moons ray, the Night King unlatched his own sword following her actions.
He didn't expect the girl to be so brave as to start a fight with him, and her mother definitely did not expect her daughter to risk her life for Bran Stark.
Arabella turned to Bran who slowly extended his hand "Think about this" He whispered "Let me show you.."
"No." Bran didn't let go of her hold, she struggled against his surprisingly strong grasp "Bran I need to kill them!"
She unlatched from his hold and threw herself forward.
Her sword clashed together with the Kings in such a force that sent her tumbling but she managed to stay standing even through the pain coursing through her leg.
The only thing that kept her going was the adrenaline coursing through her veins with every move she made, she held her sword tighter then before feeling every curve of the blade.
She let out a low groan but held her head high, she readied her feet in the fighting stance she was taught all those years ago and struck again her sword just missing his abdomen, she lost her balance for a moment before narrowing her feet further apart again.
Arabella gasped as the Night King threw his sword forward it scratching the side of her stomach but not scratching it enough to cause any dangerous damage.
