Sam was in the kitchen with a bunch of different sauce bottle scattered around a giant pot on the counter hoping to creat the perfect sauce. A unique sauce with a little of different flavours of her favourite sauces and condiments. She could already imagine it, an exquisite sauce made by her on her beef ribs or something. "And a little of this," Sam says adding mustard into the pot. "And a little of that," adding hot sauce into the pot. "And a dash of this, and a blip of bread" adding two more different sauces into the pot. "Blip of brown" she says tapping on the bottle for the sauce to come out. "Com'on now, plop on in there" Sam says in a southern accent.
Cat who was reading her textbook and trying to jot down the important points; was losing concentration at the ruckus Sam was causing. "Excuse me!, I'm trying to do my homework" Cat says fed up and frustrated that she couldn't focus on her homework from the table beside the counter from where Sam was. "Try to keep it down, would ya?" Sam replies hoping it would trick Cat. "What are you even doing?" Cat asks curious but annoyed, looking at Sam. "There are a billion sauces in the world, right?" Sam starts excitedly to tell her 'room mate' about her awesome sauce. "I haven't counted the sauces of the world" Cat says still annoyed, waiting for Sam to get to the point. "Well I am making the perfect sauce for any food, now open your mouth," Sam says as she take a spoon full of the sauce and brings it towards Cat so she can taste. "I don't wanna" Cat says as she looks up at Sam trying not to cave into those hopeful sparking blue eyes but also knowing it's not going to taste very good. "Open." Sam says firmly. At that Cat gets up and opens her mouth as Sam gives Cat a taste of the sauce. She puts her hand under the spoon and Cat's chin in case it drips. "Well?" Sam asks hopeful and Cat gives her an uncertain look and she spits out the sauce all over Sam's muscle shirt. Sam looks down at her shirt, spoon still in hand as Cat says "it's not a sauce for me." Giving her honest opinion but not wanting to hurt her feelings. "Well now I gotta change shirts before I start to smell" Sam says emotionlessly and Cat just stands there giving Sam a soft sympathetic smile. "So I'll just-" Sam gets cut off by Dice walking through the apartment door without knocking causing Cat's smile to falter to a frown.
Both girls stand side by side behind the counter and turn to give their attention to the boy as he makes his way towards them. "Okay, I know you guys told me to knock but I got a situation so I forgot to knock!" Dice says, stress evident in his voice. "Don't ask about his situation" Sam says to Cat not wanting to hear him complain and knowing Cat would regardless. "What's your situation?" Cat asks. Karma for earlier. "GEEZE" Sam groans, the one thing she told her not to do. Dice explained how he was playing in poker game with a group of friends and the spear fisherman and how he won the game. "Well be happy you won, that guy bet all the tuna" Sam says.
"He did, I thought he was talking about money but he was betting actual fish."
"Tuna fish?" Cat asks
"yeah, he paid me with twelve hundred pounds of tuna!"
At that Sam smirks "ya know, I got the perfect sauce for tuna fish." Sam says proudly in a suggestive manner as she makes her way around Cat to the pot of sauce running her hand up and down the pot. Cat just stood there shaking her head.
"They aren't ready for sauce. They are alive swimming in a tank down at the fisherman's wharf." Dice says.
"So? Just sell them to some tuna fish company." Sam suggests.
"You don't get it" Dice says.
"I don't want it." Sam mocks Dice.
"They aren't normal tuna fish, they're Kansas Razorback tuna." Dice explains.
