Steven x Connie a Steven universe fan fic

Part 6

The next day

Connie climbed into her mothers car "so mum where are we going" Connie asked as she did up her seat belt "well when you were at stevens your friend called and asked if you wanted to come over" so we're going there pinyarkar (well that's butched) said as she started up the vehicle and backed out the drive way. "and you didn't think to ask me first" Connie questioned "why? because you spend to much time at that Steven boys house it would be good for you to hang out with other friends. Also I want to make sure she's not a bad influence on you" pinyarka ( first person to put the correct spelling in the comments gets a prize)
Said as she drove down the road following the GPS to get there. Connie blushed thinking about her time with Steven from the day prior she contemplated talking to her mother about it but decided against it.

They pulled up into the driveway of Jessica's house
Connie climbed out and rang the door bell.
"Hello you must be connie, and you must be priyanka" Jessica's mother Clair said opening the door "come on in"
"Ahh connie Jessica is up in her room" Clair said as she sat at the table next to priyanka. Connie walked up the tall oak stairs leading into a hallway with a door at the end. She nocked on the door which opened suddenly "hi Connie" Jessica said inviting Connie in. " welcome to me room" Jessica said as Connie walked in the walls were covered with posters and photos "so what do you want to do" Jessica asked as she flopped onto the bed "im not sure do you have any ideas?"connie replied. "hmmmmmmmmmm we could go into town" she said sitting up "ok" Connie replied.

"heyy mum we're going into town " Jessica said as she walked out the door with Connie right behind.
"you just let her go out on her own like that" pinyarka asked with a slight hint of concern
"i know the crazy stuff teens get up to so id rather he do them and be safe that do them behind my back" Clair said taking a sip of tea " ok... I guess that makes sense" pinyarka said taking a sip of her own tea.

Connie and Jessica Walked all around beach city mostly just chatting and making jokes until they got hungry. "Want to go to the big donut" Jessica asked
"Ok" connie replied as they happily walked over.

Over at steven
Steven hadn't had the best day so far he had ran out of food the gems were all out and so was the power, and he wasn't able to see connie he had no other ideas than to get a donut so off he went.

Steven walked into the big donut the familiar sound of the bell going off. "hey Steven what will be" dewy asked "just a jam donut thanks" he said placing the money on the counter "there you go" dewy said as he handed him the bag. Steven walked out of the building and around the corner straight into " Connie? Sorry sorry " he said leaning down to help her up. "STEVEN" Connie said in glee as she gave him a hug "hu hu hum" Jessica said nudging Connie "oh sorry Steven this is Jessica" Connie said "nice to meet you" Steven said sticking out his hand Jessica quickly took his hand and shook it very happily.

Connie and Jessica got there donuts and the three went to sit at the shore. They sat there talking for about two hours before Connies mother called her to come back. "come on we've got to go your mum will get mad if we're not back soon" Jessica said as she started to walk back waving at Steven "oh hold on in need to put my paper bag in the trash ill catch up" Connie shouted to a Jessica who was already across the road and moving behind a building. "i thought you already though out your bag" Steven questioned "i did I just needed an excuse" Connie said as she rapped her arms around his neck pulling him in for a kiss that lasted for about eight seconds before they came apart "i.i should probably get going Jessica will be wondering what I'm doing" Connie said not wanting to end the moment but knowing she had to " yeah" was the only word Steven could muster as Connie ran to go catch up to her friend.
