(quick note) just hit 2000 reads🎉🎉 so another long chapter and I just wanted to say thank you all even though there's been a hiatus ok on with the story.
Steven woke up the next morning looking over to his nightstand he sighed as he saw it was 3:30. he rolled over trying to get back to sleep. He woke up the next morning looking over to his nightstand once again only to see that his clock was turned off "strange" Steven said to himself but he figured it was nothing and got up to start his day.
Steven walked out side of the house but couldn't find lion anywhere "lion where are you" Steven mittens to him self as he went to the warp pad.
Steven warped to a smaller warp pad near the school and walked over. When he got there he saw that there were no other students except "CONNIE" he yelled running up to greet her "connie?" He asked questionly but connie didn't answer she just kept walking "connie is something wrong" he asked with a frown on his face "did I do something wrong" he asked again becoming visibly upset "PLEASE TALK TO ME" he yelled on the verge of tears grabbing her shoulder only for her to poof away Steven looked horrified thinking that he had just killed her until he looked around to see that he hadn't moved at all they were still at the front of the school. He quickly pulled out his phone 3:30
Suddenly his phone vibrated it was a text he looked at it
"Hello Steven how are you enjoying your self"
Steven tried to respond but no words appeared
"Don't bother trying to respond it won't work"
"If I was you Steven I would tie up any lose ends you may have" the words now echoing in his ears

Steven let out a scream but nothing came out.
Steven sat up in his bed sweating, panting and physically shaken he looked over at the clock 4:30.
Steven left the house to see lion laying on the sand Steven let out a sigh of relief he climbed on and road of to the school. Steven climbed off lion to see hundreds of students but only one mattered to him "connie he yelled running up to her and embracing her in a tight hug "thank God your ok" he said hugging even tighter "why wouldn't I be" she said trying to breath "sorry" Steven said letting go they both blushed "c.come one we should get going classes start soon" Connie said.
Steven and Connie had gotten separated for one class before lunch and as the class was now over he began to walk to the lunch area but as he was walking down the halls he bumped into Jeff. "oh hi jeff" Steven said as he continued to walk Jeff now joining "hi Steven" he said sounding kind of nervous "whats up you sound nervous" Steven asked "well I wanted to ask you something you the only male friend I have" Jeff said "sure what is it" Steven asked "well there's this girl I like and I wanted your opinion do you think I should ask her out" Jeff said clearly embarrassed "thats great of course you should" Steven said "really... thanks" Jeff said as he ran off.
Connie and Jessica were walking down the corridor to go for lunch when Jessica asked her something "he connie there's this guy I like and I just wanted your opinion on weather or not I should ask him out" she said blushing lightly "of course you should" connie told her "thanks I'm gonna go tell him right now" Jessica said as she ran off.
The group of friends sat around the Same table they had that whole week when Jeff spoke up
"Ummm c.connie" "yes" Connie replied "i.i.i I like you" Jeff said "jeff... im really sorry but." her sentence was cut short " Steven I like you" Jessica said extremely fast "ummmm well Jessica im sorry but im with Connie" Steven said Jessica's face went from heartbreak to anger in a fraction of a second
" OF COURSE OF COURSE WHY WOULDNT YOU LIKE CONNIE THIS IS JUST TYPICAL FUCKEN Steven jumped up a pink glow appearing on his skin " THATS ENOUGH" Steven yelled Jessica ran out of the room throwing her plate of food on the ground as she left Jeff quietly slunk out of the room as well. Connie looked like she was about to cry they left early.
Steven dropped Connie at her house offering to stay with her she declined saying she needed time to think Steven said goodbye and went home.
Steven walked into the front door of his house only to be greeted by pearl " hello Steven you home early" she said as she vacuumed the floor "year some... stuff happens at school today" he said sitting down on the couch "were are garnet and amethyst" he asked "out they should be back soon" pearl responded "good because I need to talk to all of you"
Later that same evening
"so steman what'd you want to talk about" amethyst said with a mouth full of chips "somethings coming something big but im not sure what but what ever it is it knows me and it knows you and it wants us all shattered" Steven said the gems looked between each other "steven do you know how long until this happens" pearl asked
" tomorrow "
