Chapter 13

Amelia POV
I feel so weak I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't.i can hear voices but I really don't know what's going there.it feels like I'm a different planet.i fell back to sleep.

Groaning I wake up my head hurts so bad.i look around then noticed a male figure sleeping by my bed.i don't know how the person was so a light sleeper and got up.

'Do you need anything?.' he said

I stared at the man blankly before I nodded and uttered water croakily.

He quickly ran to get water and helped me by supporting my hands so that I could drink.i feel so tired if he didn't help me out I'd have poured the water on myself.

'Who are you?'

   I said realizing I don't know the person then I looked around.when did my room suddenly turn this bright.when did the color of my wall change to white.did I sleep with him ?no no I'm in hospital..how...what I never fall sick.

  'Who the fuck are you?' I shouted at him

'I've been talking to you but you were lost in your thoughts by the way I'm mike.you ran into my car and got hit by me.im really sorry I didn't see you if I did I'd have tried not to hit you.its such a relief to see you're alive.' he said

Ohhh I remember now.i was on my way home.i started running from those weird guys,saw one of them and I got it by car.

        'I'm so sorry it was my fault I was so scared and I was running away from bad people I didn't check if a car was coming or not before I ran into the road.' I said feeling really sorry

'What do you mean by bad people? Are you involved in illegal business' He asked

  'Christ no I was walking home and passed through the alley around by workplace then I heard them talking about some business and if anyone finds out they will the kill person so I freaked out and ran into your car.im happy I'm not dead.' I answered

Rubbing his temple he asked, 'are you feeling pain?'

'No thank you.you look like you need some sleep I'll be fine without you.'I said

   'Yes I need sleep it was uncomfortable for me here.' he said

I was about to answer then he added.... 'I don't need to sound rude though'

Smiling I said 'that's fine I totally understand'. I am feeling uncomfortable too.but do you know when I'd be discharged?'

'By tomorrow morning.if you like I could drop you off'. he answered with a little smile

He's so polite and kind.some people would have actually left me there to die or just take drop me off here.he didn't he stayed the night looking out for a stranger and he looks rich.hes pretty with green eyes and a little freckles on his face.

   'No I'm okay you've done more than enough.' I declined his offer

' Are you sure? Because I really don't mind.' He said rubbing my hands in circles

I didn't feel weird with his gesture. I felt relaxed and I think he'd make a good friend.i hardly trust people but he just earned a little from me.i feel like I could trust him.

'AMELIA HAZEL KING.' cassie shrieked

I know her voice anywhere.

'Do you want to give me a heart attack? Or you just want me gone?. I panicked when I got a call last night seeing you were here and I was assured by a man that you were fine and he'll take care of you so I can come here this morning and now am here.' She said breathing heavily
