Chapter 15

Amelia POV
We quickly pulled away and looked at the person that entered the room.it was mike with flowers and chocolates.

'Hey I brought you flowers.' he said smiling but his smile dropped when he saw Damien

I sat up right and looked at them.they were both glaring at each other.something was definitely fishy.

clearing my voice they both looked at me remembering they were not alone.he handed me the flowers and said 'i bought you lily flowers because I didn't know what you liked so I hope you like it.'

  'I don't mind they are really lovely.Thank you so much mike' I said sniffling the flowers.

   I looked at damien and his knuckles were white and balled into a fist.he looked at us angrily then he left.he was obviously pissed off .could it be he thought I liked mike but we were about to kiss .i narrowed my eyes at mike and he raised his hands up.

'What just happened? Do you guys know each other?.'i asked

    'Yes we are sort of rivals.its a long story I'll tell you another day but first are you okay?'

     I nodded and said 'Yes I am.you better tell me later.Damien took good care of me.' I said

        So he has a heart he muttered but think I heard him.whats wrong with these guys and whispering.

       'Okay that's fine.i was just passing by so I decided to check up on you.remember to call me when you get home tomorrow okay?'he said

       'Okay I will bye it's late you should go and drive safely.' I said to him then he nodded and left not before hugging me.

   Immediately he left I quickly picked up my phone to text Damien asking what the problem was but he didn't reply and he read it.i texted him to drive safely and wished him a goodnight then I went to get myself cleaned up.i really can't wait to get out of here.

I just came back feeling really tired.I decided to take a stroll around the hospital.i checked my phone and there were no notifications sighing, I threw it on the bed I thought we were progressing but from the way things are now we are apparently back to where we started.im pissed at Damien what did I do.i doubt he'd drop me off tomorrow but from the little I know he always kept to his words.

   I heard the door open but I'm still sleepy to get up or attend to the person.the person opened the blinds I groaned and said sleepy close the window I want to sleep more.

        'Hey Miss I'm sorry to wake you up but it's time for you to take your medications and to let you know you'd be getting discharged when the gentleman down is done attending to the doctors...'a lady said

   I opened one of my eyelids and saw it was a lady in scrub ...oh she's a nurse ...a gentleman man which man was she talking about?. I stretched and got up rubbing my eyes I said 'good morning to you too'

         She chuckled and said 'someone is finally up.morning please take this and freshen up'

      'Can it wait till I'm done so I can get breakfast at all.' i wanted to do otherwise though so I asked to see if that was possible.

        'That's fine.i will take my leave now and the gentleman will be here in 5minutes'.she left after passing her message across.

   And I was about asking her who this man was.i went to freshen up when I came out I saw a figure looking outside through the opened blinds.

               Mike?I asked

   'Do I look like you so called mike to you?' The figure said and turned

     I gasped with my eyes wide open.i was really surprised to see him.

         'Damien why are you here?'

     He narrowed his eyes at me and said 'you'd have preferred mike ?'

    'I didn't mean it that way'.

  I said looking at him in the eyes.emotions flicked in them like jealousy,anger and sadness but it turned blank in couple of seconds.he didn't understand me but it seemed like he was searching if I was lying or not when he saw what he was looking for he nodded

    'It's okay I'm only because I said I'd be here today.' he said without any emotions with his hands in his pocket.

   I thought he cared for me.his words hurt me but I won't give that satisfaction.two can play the game.

It was already 10 by the time I got done with everything.i told Damien to take me home then we left.i entered the car without sparing him a glance I think he noticed I was not happy with him.the car was silent tension filled all over the air.to make it worse I didn't bother turning on the radio.i was not just in the mood. I averted my gaze outside looking at buildings and people passing.

    Immediately we reached I quickly got out and said thank you. I went to my door and unlocked it when I was about to close the door something stopped it from closing.i looked down only for me to see Damien's leg.

      What are ........

    I was about to ask him but I didn't get to finish because I was pushed to the wall and the things I held fell to the ground then he held my hands above my head.he closed the door with his leg and moved really close to me there was no space between us.

     'What's wrong ?' He asked me but I didn't answer

'Amelia can you tell me what the problem is ?' he tried again

     I didn't answer him I kept quiet giving him the silent treatment.i know I'm being childish.

       'Amelia' he said huskily I was about to give in but I didn't

     'What's with the attitude? ' He said pissed off . I lost it then and there

     I shouted at him 'Did you just say I have an attitude..attitude you say..yesterday you left me for no reason I texted you you didn't reply you read my text.you didn't apologize treating me like a child.who the hell do you think you're to leave and come at your leisure time.today you came to the hospital which I'm grateful for...I thought you mike......'

   His lips fell on mine .finally I've been waiting for this moment though it seemed like a punishing kiss but I didn't care I kissed him back . He pulled back and said 'that was the only way I had to stop you from you're ranting'.

     I looked at him shocked then he laughed out loud he thinks I'm joking I stepped out of his embrace he quickly pulled me back and said

   'I'm sorry okay?'

    I looked up at him and saw sincerity flashing in his eyes then I nodded muttering 'it's fine'

    He leaned in and kissed me again but this time it was passionately which I returned with equal passion.

    'Will you go on a date with me?' He said

   'Uhmm yeah I'd love to.' i replied biting my lips

       He pulled my lips out of my teeth and said 'don't do that.be ready by 6 tomorrow'

  He pecked the corner of my lips smiling he said ' see you tomorrow and left'

  I squealed like a teenager girl who just kissed her first crush.i couldn't take the grin off my face for the rest of the day.
