Chapter 17

Damien POV
I just wanted to kill mike with my bare hands. He did that to see what my reaction would be.how did he and Amelia become so close under few days.

I'm sorry lia.i mocked subconsciously.They even gave themselves nicknames.its obvious mike is attracted to her.she is pretty she can attract anyone in seconds. I watched them trying to understand what really was going on before I entered her room.

Initially I came to return her stuff she dropped.i was outside for a while because I mean I could give her tomorrow since we are going for a date but this was just an excuse to see her again and make sure mike doesn't take her from me.

I finally got into the apartment her door was opened.Doesnt she know anyone can just break in and hurt her.i closed it quietly not wanting to totally freak her out completely because she'd freak out seeing me.i looked around she wasn't here I sat and waited for a while then I said a voice cry out.i quickly ran to her room opened the door and what I saw shocked me.

Mike was holding her they looked like they were getting cozy but since she cried out painfully then nothing really was going on.

I lost my cool after mike uttered those words.he got reaction he was looking for.if Amelia wasn't there I would have beat him up Amelia got pissed and we didn't want to piss her off more so we just ate the food.though I took a few bites to satisfy her.i heard her groan she must have really hurt herself because of that bastard.

Mike apologized again and offered to take her to the hospital just then I lost.i declined his offer for her and he had the audacity to say he wasn't talking to me

    ' she's my woman' I smirked

He looked surprised but he didn't say anything after that.

Damien!!!!Amelia shouted

I glared at her and said 'don't talk to me that way'

Ofcourse she didn't hear.she shouted frustratedly and I pinched the bridge of my nose because I really didn't want to say what I'd regret.her anger was justified but that doesn't give her the right to shout the fuck at me.

I took big strides towards her like she was a prey.shes my prey correcting myself I smirked at my thoughts .her confidence was long gone when I got to her.i was satisfied when I saw fear on her face.no body has ever spoken to me that way.I trapped her between my body and the wall.

  'Never talk to me like that am I understood.' i whispered harshly

   'What are you going to do?.' She countered back.now feisty as much as I like her feisty I preferred the scared Amelia that let me have my way.

I held her chin tightly and slammed her to the wall not too much to hurt her.she made a noise I couldn't tell what exactly it was.i was blinded with anger.

   'This is the last warning I'm giving you Amelia never in your life speak to me like that.'   

    I spat with anger.i looked into her eyes and they were getting teary .shit did I go to far? Or she's just born a weakling. But from what I remember she has been taking care of herself then why is she about to cry

When you're man handling her.my subconscious said

Shut up I'm trying to teach her a lesson.

   'I'm sorry.' she quietly with fear in her eyes while fidgeting

What am I going to do with this girl.she is practically trembling in fear.i found this nice just a bit because She could stand up for herself and not totally submissive

   'Stay away from him.he's not who you think he is.' I said

Her eyes held confusion then she blinked like she regained her senses

   ' Mi..mike he'ss a good...man.' she stuttered

   'He's a good man..you say' I laughed

    'Are you usually this gullible or you're just easily pleased' .i ended my sentence mockingly

And now the spitfire was back

   'No you don't know me don't judge me.' She said furiously

I think she forgot who was in charge I so held her arms above her head she struggled but got tired of struggling because I wasn't moved at all.

  'Yes I don't know you.its your behavior that speaks of you at a point so I merely asked you a question which you didn't answer so I already took my answer.' i whispered in her ears

  'And you don't want to know me.' she said sadly

I was shocked .what is actually wrong with her ?.i quickly changed my expression.i let go of her and walked to sit down.i already made my point she already apologized there was no need talking about all of this anymore.i didn't want to fight with her or hurt her any further too.i looked up and saw her still standing looking really uncomfortable.

    'Come sit down.' i said tapping the chair beside me

She took slow steps and stiffly sat beside me,playing with the hem of her dress.i watched her intently and noticed her furrowed eyebrows,the way her lips were in a thin line.she is still beautiful even when she frowns.the silence wasn't awkward for me but for her.

    'I want you to stay away from mike.i have known him for years and you barely know him.hes not the angel you think he is.Be careful also.' i said as calm as i could so she wouldnt shout like a mad person

She looked at me quizzically and was about to maybe argue again but she held back what ever she wanted to say and said

   'Damien I appreciate your concern but I'll be okay and who I make friends with isn't your business.' she concluded stubbornly

I don't want to scold her again because I know if I were in her shoes I'd have second doubts about mike seeing how much someone already warned so I could stay safe .so obviously that the way she's really feeling but deciding to go against it maybe because there is no evidence well not yet.

   'A word is a enough for the wise.' i said

I handed her what she forgot in my car .she tends to forget a lot that I noticed .ive noticed a lot about her which I hardly ever notice on anyone else not even David.

I think it's time for me to get going to make it less awkward for her.she is so quiet .i want to hug her but then she might flinch due to reflexes and the tension.highly understandable but I will.she looked like so lonely

I pulled her gently into my arms,rubbing them in circles.she stiffened but relaxed then snuggled into my chest.this position was really cozy and I liked it.its been years since I felt this.i held her chin she looked into my eyes and I did the same.

Her eyes are normal but I got lost in the them.her hair is beautiful.im thinking so much about Amelia.im letting her break those walls i built

I felt her lips on mine...I didn't expect that this girl was full of surprises. I took charge over it.i pulled her on my laps to kiss her properly.she moaned...we kissed for a while

  'We have to stop before I take you right here.' i said huskily

She blushed and nodded her head

I chuckled and teased... 'You might turn beetroot tomorrow'

I don't know how she does it but she makes me feel at home and relaxed even without trying.

She laughed out loudly and hit my arm softly.i couldn't hide my smile I love to see her happy.Well it's not like I'm inlove with her but she made me feel really comfortable.
