Chapter 12:Courtyard

(Olivia's POV)

I open my eyes, looking around me. I look next to me to see Scarlett next to me, sleeping on me, "When did I fall asleep on the couch?", I ask myself as I slowly get up. I then go to the bathroom, looking into the mirror to see myself, bags under my eyes, scrapes and bruises everywhere, hair messy, "God, what happened to me?",I say to myself softly, looking at every bruise and scrape. I then hear Scarlett get off the couch, stretching, "Good Morning Liv", she says softly. I walk out of the bathroom to see Scarlett smiling at me, giving me a thumbs up, "As I said before, don't call me Liv", I say softly. Scarlett nods, looking around my living room, "Your so lucky!", she says softly. I turn around, looking at her, "How?", I ask her softly. Scarlett sighs, "You have a nice house, two great children that love you, your husband that isn't dead, you just have an amazing lifestyle, me on the other hand, not so much!", she says with a sad laugh. I smile softly, patting her shoulder, "Well, we are friends now so we can talk all we want, I'll be with you every step of the way", I say with a small smile. Scarlett smiles, "Thank you", she say softly. I smile, heading out of the bathroom, "Let's head to work now, I just got an alert from Detective Prescott", I say as I pick up my phone, looking down to see the alert, bright and red, shining. Scarlett walks next to me, looking at my phone, "What does it say?", she asks. I shrug my shoulders as I open it up.

Olivia, the man that has been stalking you for awhile, they arrested him awhile ago. Your safe now but, today we are going to his jail cell to ask him more questions! Be prepared for some good questions that can lead us to where Samantha Wells is. Detective Prescott!

I sigh, turning off my phone, "Let's head out", I say as I head upstairs, Scarlett following me. I go into my room, getting my uniform and getting dressed in the tiny changing room in my room, "Did you bring your uniform Scarlett?", I ask her as I get my shoes on. Scarlett nods, "Uh huh, I'm gonna get dressed downstairs", she says as I hear her head out. I get out of the dressing room, hearing my phone ring, "Huh?", I ask myself as I pick up the phone to see who it is. I look to see it's James. I pick it up, walking out of our room, "Hello gorgeous", he says happily. I sigh, smiling a little as I head downstairs, "Hello", I say as I grab my bag, looking to see Scarlett waiting for me, motioning for me that we have to head out, "So, what is my little honeybee up to today?", he asks me romantically. I sigh as I walk out of the house, locking the door, "Wait, what about your kids?", asks Scarlett softly. I cover the phone with my hand, whispering, "My mom is here right now, she'll take care of them", I say as I get in the car, closing the door. I uncover the phone, putting James on Bluetooth, "Going to check out some stuff, mostly more investigating", I say as I start the car. James sighs, "Look Liv, I think you need a break, you seem stressed", he says. I sigh loudly, "James, I'm not stressed, I have to be somewhere right now", I say as Scarlett hops into the car, closing the door. James stays silent, sighing again, "Okay, I'll call you later, love you honeybee", he says as he hangs up. I sigh, leaning my head against the steering wheel, "Everything okay?", asks Scarlett. I nod, "Yeah", I say as I start to drive out of the driveway. We then head over to Agents Of Warriors.

(Jame's POV)

"James!", I hear my commander say. I look up from my phone to see my commander, Sandra Braun looking at me, "Sorry Commander, I had to call my wife", I say softly.  Commander Braun sighs, shaking her head, " Look, you can't just keep calling your wife when you want, this is the army", she says annoyed. I sigh, "I know I know but, I miss her", I say softly. Commander Braun rolls her eyes, "Then why did you sign up anyway?", she asks me annoyed. I sigh, looking down, "Because, I'm needed here, I'm not needed back at home", I say softly. Commander Braun sighs, "Whatever", she says. We then stand in formation line, ready to serve our country.

(Olivia's POV)

"So, how is it like having a husband?", asks Scarlett as we pull up into The Agents Of Warriors parking lot. I sigh, looking at her, "Well, it's nice but, it can be annoying sometimes, you had a husband, why are you asking me?", I ask her. Scarlett looks down, "Just because, he wasn't my husband for that long, he was killed 3 weeks after our wedding", she says sadly. I pat her back, smiling, "I'm sorry but, you have me now, maybe James, when you get to know him, he's amazing", I say happily. Scarlett nods, "Ready to go in?", she asks. I nod, "Yep, we just have to tell Detective Prescott that we are here, then head out to the police station, we need to ask that guy some questions especially me", I say sternly. Scarlett nods as we get out of the car, "Let's do this", she says. We head into Agents Of Warriors, opening the front door, "Olivia, Scarlett, your here", says Detective Prescott. I nod, "Yeah, we came to check in, are we supposed to be at the police station right now?", I ask. Detective Prescott nods, "yeah, why don't you head over there now, I'll meet you there", he says. I nod, heading out of the building, "So, we get to act serious and kick butt", says Scarlett happily. I sigh, starting the car and getting in, "Yep", I say as I close my door. Scarlett gets in the car, closing the door, "Is it okay if I ride with you?", she asks me. I nod, "Yeah sure", I say. I then drive out of the parking lot, heading to the police station.
