Chapter 14: Not How I Planned It

(Olivia's POV)

I wake up, James's arms wrapped around me. I move his hands from my waist slowly as I get out of bed quietly, walking out of the room. I walk into the living room to see Hudson on his laptop, typing fast, "You look like you haven't had sleep in forever", I say softly. Hudson looks up from his computer and smiles at me softly, "Well, I found some new information on where Sophia is", he says. I rush over to him, looking over his shoulder, "Did you find her?", I ask softly. Hudson sighs, "No, I found her location though, actually yeah, I mostly found her", he says. I smile, "Hudson, thank you so much!", I say, hugging him. Hudson rubs my back, smiling, "Anything for my baby sister", he says as he lets go. I smile, "Thanks", I say. Hudson smiles, "Is James still in bed?", he asks. I shrug my shoulders, "He's tired, I can't blame him", I say with a small smile. Hudson laughs, "Caleb is still asleep also, he was pretty worn out when I put him to bed", he says. I laugh, "Well, he missed James, they are like best buddies", I say. I then feel arms wrap around my waist, "Good Morning!", I hear James say. I smile, turning my head to face him, "Morning! Did you sleep well?", I ask. James smiles, "Yes, when I'm next to you", he says as he lets go of my waist, heading to the kitchen. Hudson smiles, whistling, "He's a hunk of hotness Liv, no wonder you love him", he says. I smack Hudson playfully, "Hudson!", I with a small chuckle. Hudson laughs, "Kidding", he says as he heads back on the couch, typing on his computer again. James looks up at me, his boxers on, his t-shirt on, "You want some coffee Liv?", he asks as he pours a cup of coffee. I smile, "Yes please, thank you", I say softly. James pours another cup of coffee, sighing, "Did Hudson find any clues on Sophia?", he asks softly as he walks out of the kitchen, handing me a cup of coffee, "Yes, we found where she is, I'm gonna head over there today, teach those guys a lesson", I say. James puts his hand on my shoulder, rubbing it, "Livy, it's dangerous, I don't want you hurt", he says softly. I nod, looking down, "I know James but, I have to go, Sophia could be hurt, I gotta go", I say softly. James nods, "I'll come with you", he says. I shake my head, "No James, take care of Caleb, tell him I went to go get some stuff, he doesn't need to know what I'm doing", I say softly. James sighs, "Liv, Hudson can take care of Caleb for a bit, I need to go with you, it's dangerous, you don't know how dangerous these people are, they can harm you massively", he says. I sigh, "Fine but, you gotta stay in the car", I say, raising my eyebrows. James sighs, "No Olivia, I'm going with you no matter what, I've been in the army, I know all the tactics", he says. I sigh, "Fine! You have to stay close to me though", I say. James laughs, "Aye Aye Captain!", he says with a salute. I laugh, "You always can make me laugh", I say. James smiles, "Well, that's all I want to do", he says with a small smile. I smile, "Remember when we went to the fair and you won me that stuffed bear but, when the guy got it off the rack, it ripped all the stuffing out?", I ask. James laughs, "Yeah, I got you another one after that because I wanted you to be happy", he says with a small smile. Suddenly, James leans in and kisses me on the lips, "All right lovebirds, I gotta destination", I hear Hudson say. James and I turn around to see Hudson hopping off the couch, "Here is the address, good luck and be safe, especially you Liv", he says as he turns towards me. I nod, "Thank you, Hudson, I'll be back and we'll be threat-free from these people, I'll stop all of this", I say softly. Hudson nods, looking up at James, "You take care of Liv or I swear I'll....", he says before I cut him off, "Hudson, he understands, relax", I say softly. Hudson nods, "Right, just take care of my sister", he says as he looks at James. James nods, "I'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe", he says, looking down at me. I smile softly at him, "Ready to go?", I ask. James nods, "Get some clothes on and we'll head out", he says softly. I nod, heading into the bathroom to get changed.

(Jame's POV)

"So, how was being in the Army?", asks Hudson. I sigh, "Hard, that's all I can say, hard being away from my Liv and hard being away from Caleb and Sophia but, I managed,  with the help of my good friend Nate", I say with a small smile. Hudson smiles, "That's good, look, Olivia can be stubborn sometimes, you need, "Hudson, I know this, I've been married to her for 4 years, I know how stubborn she is", I say, cutting him off. Hudson laughs nervously, "Yes, of course!", he says. I sigh softly, "You act like I just met her, come on Hudson, you know me better than that, I know your very protective over your little sister but, Olivia will be fine, I can assure you of that, I will keep her safe, for me, for the kids, for you", I say, laying my hand on his shoulder. Hudson pats my hand, nodding, "Sorry it's just, Olivia has helped me a lot, she means a lot to me, you just, do your job", he says hesitating. I smile, "I will", I say with a small smile. I then look to see Olivia come out with a black sweatshirt on, black jeans on, "Why you dressed up like your going undercover?", I ask. Olivia raises her eyebrows, "Because we are, get your black clothes on, let's do this!", she says sternly. I nod, "I'll be back!", I say as I go into the bathroom and change.
