While Leo was catching his breath you were laughing. You loved playing a game of chase every once in a while. He finally caught his breath and looked you in the eyes.
"Cara mia..." He said while cupping your cheek. "Don't run like that. There could be someone out here, and since you don't know this place yet, I don't want you to get hurt..." He said in a gentle tone. You couldn't help blush and smile as you nuzzled your face into his hand. You saw his face turn into a light pink. "Aye, stop that..." He said as he slowly took his hand away.
"But it was warm..." You whined reaching back for his hand.
"No, you can't have my hand." He shook his head.
"Fine, but can I ask a question?" You sighed.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Why do you care about what happens to me? Was Issac being serious?" You looked down, just to have it lifted back up by two slender fingers.
"Why wouldn't I care about you? And Issac never lies." He suddenly placed his lips on yours. You were startled by his sudden action. He pulled away, but your lips still had his warmth.
"W-why did you do that?" You stuttered.
"Because, I like you, cara mia." He smiled. "I like you so, so, so much... I love you." He leaned back in and kissed you again. You kissed back. You broke the kiss after a moment.
"I love you too Leonardo."
