Chapter Seven

Leo picked you up so you didn't slip.

"You know if you slip, I'm going down too."  You glanced at Leo.

"That's why I did it."  You could hear the smirk in his voice.  You started to squirm trying to get out of his arms.  "Stop, or you're going to throw yourself down!"  He scolded you.

"Then put me down!"  You yelled.

"Unless if you want it to look like you're being kidnapped, stop moving."  He growled.  You kept struggling.  "I promise I won't drop you if you stop moving."  You calmed down a bit.  The manor was coming into view.  The two of you were soaked.  Your brand new dress was sticking to your body.  Leo seemed to notice.  "What a nice view, cara mia."  He grinned, glancing down at you.

"S-shut up..."  You mumbled.  He chuckled.  The two of you reached the manor door, drenched in rain.

"Cara mia, you better get a warm bath and warm clothes so you don't catch a cold."  He told you.  It wasn't a choice.  You decided to go to the public bath since Sebastian told you it was the best place to go.  You just hoped that nobody else would be there.  You went inside the giant room.  There were a couple of wooden benches to put your clothes on.  You chose the farthest one so in case if anyone walked in, they wouldn't see your underclothes.  You were stepping up to the bath when you heard another pair of feet hitting the tile floor.  They stopped right behind you.  You slowly turned around.

"Oh my!  I-I'm sorry!"  You stuttered.  The intruder Leo.  He was naked so you covered your eyes.

"What are you doing?"  He asked.  "Why didn't you tell anyone that you were going to use this bath?"  You blushed even more as some of the fog blew away from it.  You quickly jumped into the water, to help hide.  "Cara mia!  Be careful!"  Leo sighed.  "I swear, you always get yourself into trouble."  He eased himself into the hot water.  The water burned you a bit.  It was so warm compared to the rain you were standing in a few moments before.  "You know I wouldn't look there, so why did you jump in?"  He said getting closer to you.

"B-because I saw you..!"  You were embarrassed to tell him that.

"Why did you look?"  He grinned.

"I-I don't know!"  You looked away.

"Was it all you thought it was and more?"  He smirked.

"W-what?  No!"  You splashed him with water.  He glared at you and splashed back, laughing.
