Lacie opened his eyes.
He started to stare at his legs. He was sitting on a big oak chair. The room was dead silent. Just the sound of his breathing and the beat of his heart was echoing at his ear. He couldn't even recognized if he was speaking literally or just speaking to his mind.
He was in a room with a chess tiled floor. He raised his head and looked up at the ceiling. He was hoping to see a ceiling with a light bulb but to his surprise, an endless void of darkness circling above his head. It was impossible that he still can see without any light.
Lacie gasped at the sight of a different dimension above him. He looked at his left there was no windows or any door, he looked at his right nothing, then looked behind him but still nothing. Lacie then turned his head infront but still nothing to make of an exit. Lacie started hyperventilating he was so frightened by the idea of being caged in a room without exits.
Tic! Toc! Tic! Toc! Tic! Toc! -
Lacie held on to his head like he was protecting his ear by the maddening sound of the ticking clock.
"Hohoho are you okay mr. Adenum?"- said an old man's voice.
Lacie was surprised by the voice.
"W-who are you? Where am i?"- lacie raised his head and saw an old man who's face was in the shadows of his big magician's hat. He was sitting on a oak chair with a black cane on his lap. He was wearing a black suit and a red tie.
"Hohoho sorry for not telling. i am mr. Madness-". The old man bowed down his head.
"Where is this place? " lacie didn't care about the old man's weird name.
"Why. Your inside your mind mr. Adenum" -
Lacie felt his eyes twitch.
"Hohoho i see your confuse on what's happening to you?"-
"What are you tal- AAAHHHH!!!! UAAAHHHH!!!!! S-STTOOOOPPP!!!!".
Lacie was going hysterical. He suddenly felt his brain being eaten inside by small insects.
"Hohoho. mr.Adenum. i see your madness is still eating you away. Hohoho that isn't very good for the health mr. Adenum-"
"AHHHHHH!!! NO! NO! NO! MAKE IT STOP!!!" Lacie raised his head and banged it to the floor to make the enormous pain go away.
Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!-
"Hohoho. Mr. Adenum its your madness. You stop them yourself-"
Lacie kept banging his head at the floor. Blood then sprayed all over the floor. The white tiles were bloodstained. Lacie then tried to stop his head from banging. But it wouldn't stop he was not controlling his body anymore.
"AAAM I GOING TO DIE???!!!"
Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!-
Crack!
Lacie felt his head cracked open then suddenly he stopped.
He opened his eyes. To his surprise he was completely fine and he was now sitting at the oak chair again.
"Hohohoho. Told you, you can stop it"- The old man laughed.
"W-what happened? My head cracked opened! I felt it!!" Said lacie who was confused.
"What do you mean your head cracked open? Hohoho" Said the old man.
"I was banging my he- ". Lacie stopped.
'What was i doing until now?' Lacie thought to himself.
"Hohohohoho. Mr. Adenum are you ok?"- said the old man.
"Who are you?". Lacie looked like a boy lost in the woods. His head turning left and right.
