When the old man finally allowed her and her team to go on a C rank mission, she was ecstatic, no more D rank missions! And not only that, she could prove just how powerful she now is to Konoha for more missions

Ever since it was revealed that he had a home, he always locked himself in, never leaving unless it's for food or the academy, and if it was the academy he always isolated himself

But most importantly[To her]he hasn't made a conversation with her once. She didn't know what he's been doing, she doesn't know why he wears baggy clothes. Hell she didn't even know what his favorite color was!

So she thought that maybe she could prove herself to him, and maybe she could get... closer to him? And no matter what Ayame says, she would forever deny the fact that she has a crush on Sh- well it's not like she does...

Sure, he was her first friend, the person who gave her an apartment, which the old man[Hiruzen]told her that Shinku requested one for her

The person who gave her a drive to get stronger, smarter, and overall made her try her hardest to be the best she can be

Definitely not...

She thought that the C rank mission would give her some time to talk to him... but apparently not due to the mission actually having rogue Shinobi!

So maybe on the boat? Yeah right, the duck haired bastard and Kakashi would be listening... so where could she finally have a real conversation with him?

She[Idiotically] tried to impress him by throwing Kunai to where she thought it would hit something, only for her to realize she nearly murdered a bunny much to her horror

But apparently she was correct in a sense, as a weird tall man appeared after he threw his huge sword which got stuck in a tree

And apparently Kakashi had the famous Sharingan eye of the Uchiha clan, which she knew of because of after reading all about the clans

After experiencing the intent to kill she almost did something stupid until Shinku snapped her out of it, much to her happiness

after an intense battle between Kakashi and Zabuza, two needle things[Senbon] get thrown to the side of his neck by a masked person

But what pained her the most was the look that Shinku had while looking at the person, which due to the voice of the person, was most likely female

It showed desire, but for what? She hopefully thought not her body... right? Sure, she knew most males his age would have what people called... hormones

And if so, why didn't he notice her? She wasn't oblivious, she knew most males in the academy liked her, and some most likely still do like Kiba

But not him

It was never him, he never showed interest, always left before she could strike up a conversation, and by the end of this mission she intended to know why...
