Chunin Exams

A/n: one of my favorite arcs! Let's get this started

The chunin exams

The breaking point of the Naruto series, the time where Naruto met Jiraiya, where Sasuke got his cursed mark, the time Gaara was introduced, and of course among other things...

But that of course was for a bit later... and in the meantime...

"Hm? Who's that dude with the mask? Is he like... your boyfriend?" Konohamaru asked, his head tilting in confusion as he looked at Shinku

Meanwhile Naruko was too busy having smoke come out of her ears, a crimson blush across her face

"N-no he's uhhh... I mean- a friend, a very good friend..." Her face downcast as she mumbled under her breath

"Ha! It seems like you want him more as then just a friend" Konohamaru gave a sly smirk as his two friends nodded, Shinku just sighed

"Agh! That's it!" She gritted her teeth as she charged at Konohamaru, his face quickly turning pale as he ran

Shinku sighed once more at this, deciding why not to go with her as he ran after the blonde

He should've seen this coming, he really should've had

"It's seems like this village is full of wimps, maybe I should teach him some manners" Kankuro grinned as he held Konohamaru by his scarf, lifting him in mid air

"Let him go!" Naruko gritted her teeth as Shinku merely watched, his eyes narrowed at the tree to their left where Sasuke thought he remained undetected

And so did Gaara, but Shinku could see them clear as day, Sasuke was a complete amateur, while Gaara was slightly better

'Well well well, if it isn't present number 4'

Shinku grinned as he saw a small pebble go to Kankuro's hand as he was about to to throw a fist against Konohamaru

"Agh! What the-" Kankuro yelped in pain as he looked towards Sasuke, Temari whistled with a slight blush adorning her cheeks

"Aren't you a long way from home" Sasuke tossed up and down a pebble, Naruko gritted her teeth at him

"Oh great another loser to tick me off" Kankuro narrowed his eyes at him while Sasuke looked uncaring

"Get lost" Sasuke gripped the stones that were in his hand, a crunching sound was heard as he opened his hand, dust coming out, shaking the compete shattering of the stones

'Wonder how much practice he did to do that'

Shinku looked uncaring as ever to his little trick much to Sasuke's anger who thought Shinku would be fearful of what he did or angry

"Hey, why don't you get down here, you're the type of guy I hate the most, all attitude and nothing to back it up" Kankuro gripped the bandages behind his back as he slammed it down on the ground

"A-are you really going to sue the crow for this!?" Temari practically yelled as she saw what Kankuro did

Shinku narrowed his eyes at Gaara which seemed to actually surprised the red headed boy by the way his eyes widened a bit

"Kankuro, stop. You're an embarrassment to our village" Almost everybody's eyes widened as they turned to look at Gaara who was on the apposite side of tree that Sasuke was on

"O-oh... hey.. G-Gaara" Kankuro stuttered in fear as he looked at his younger brother, said brother hanging upside down on a tree branch continued to look at Shinku and Naruko

Kankuro started talking but for Shinku, he totally just voiced him out as he starred at Gaara

Gaara, while talking, also starred at Shinku as if nobody was there

Gaara narrowed his eyes at Shinku, his body disappearing in a twirl of sand as he then reappeared on the ground

"Let's go... but before that... you" Gaara then pointed at Shinku who raised an eyebrow

"What's your name" Temari and Kankuro's eyes widened

"Shinku Metsu, you can call me Shinku, Raccoon eyes" Temari and Kankuro gaped at Shinku's blatant disrespect as Gaara held a serious expression

"And who are you then" Sasuke said as his eyes narrowed at him

"I'm Gaara of the desert, I'll be seeing you later, Shinku" he looked at Shinku once more, feeling a chilling feeling coming from him, he decided to go

"Let's go"

With two shaky nods, Kankuro and Temari walked off with Gaara

"Wait, you three are Shinobi from the village hidden in the sand! So why are you here!?" Naruko shouted at them

"Really? You guys don't know? You guys must be living under a rock then, we're here for the Chunin Exams" Temari then showed them a card with her face on it and showing her clearance to enter the Chunin Exam

And with that, the three left

"The... Chunin Exams?" Naruko questions

'And it begins'
