Chapter 5: The Confession

Jace's p.o.v

"You know what I was in love with you,I guess I saw you for what you truly are a slut!" That dickhead yelled.

With that Jon, Nate, Leo, Josh, Kendall, Jared and Ben charged after him. They chased him into his car and down the street. I quickly snaked my arm around her waist and held her tight to my side.

"I told the guys to go home, Clary who was that and what did he do to you?" Jon asked
I looked down at Clary her eyes went wide with fear and she swallowed hard.

5 minutes later

Clary sat down on the couch, Jon and I followed sitting opposite her. She swallowed hard again and began it speak.

"When mom and dad got a Divorce I had a really hard time at school. People were making fun of me saying I didn't have anyone to turn to. Then I met Sebastian, he stood up for me and made sure no one would go near me so I 'wouldn't get hurt'." Clary was starting to tear up, she took a ragged breath and continued. " then one day he asked me out I said yes. He was a good boyfriend until about 1 month into our relationship he would start to tell me that no one would love me, that I was not wanted."

My hands were clinched into fists at my sides. I looked over at Jon he was red with anger. She continued to talk.

"One day I was in my room drawing, I heard a knock on my door and Sebastian walked in, he looked pissed beyond belief. I asked him what's wrong and he pretty much accused me of cheating on him with one of my closest friends Will Starkweather. I said I would never do that. He said I don't want you hanging around him anymore. I told him he had no right to tell me who and who not to hang out with. He said yes I can I am your boyfriend. I said yes you are but that doesn't give you the right to act like my father. That obviously got to him because he raised his hand and back handed me across the face sending me to the floor. I looked up at him and his eyes went wide with tears. My bottom lip was split Open and I had blood streaming down my cheek from the slap. I told him to get out we were done I never want to see him again. He said I'm sorry Clary I love you I didn't mean to do that. I said if I ever see you again Jon will come after you and kill you. With that he ran out of the house. He would call me and text me saying how sorry he was and how he wanted me back. I just ignored and went on with my life. But everyone heard about it and blamed me for him hitting me, said that I caused him to be abusive and that he was right I was not wanted and never will be by anyone."

When Clary finished telling us she had tears streaming down her face, she was breathing heavily. She closed her eyes trying calm herself down but it just made more tears come out. I looked at Jonathan at my side. He also had tears in his eyes and was scarlet red with anger. I looked back at Clary she started crying even harder because of Jon. Jonathan then gets up and walks over to Clary, Clary gets up as he approaches her. He grabs her into a big hug. Clary cried into his shoulder. Jon was smoothing down her hair hushing her saying everything was going to be okay.

"Shh, everything's going to be okay, if he ever comes here or near you again I'll do worse than kill him." He pulled back to look at her. "Okay?" Clary nodded and sat down again. I didn't know what to do. Do I hug her? I just met the girl. I decided to go and sit down next to her. She looked at me in surprise but then smiled her beautiful smile at me.

"You okay sweetheart?" I asked.

Clary nodded and then said " yeah I'm fine, I think I'm just going to go take a shower then go to bed I'm pretty tired." She said the last part to Jon.

Jon nodded and said "okay, um if you need anything Jace will be staying over for the next 2 months, and I'll be in my room so if you need anything you can come and talk to us." Clary nodded, got up and walked into her room. Probably unpacking by now.

Jon was sitting down on the couch with his head in his hands. I walk over to him and rub his back. He lifts his head up to look at me. His big green eyes showed anger and sadness.

"Jon, don't do anything rash." I warn him. i want to kill Sebastian for hurting Clary. I can't imagine what Jonathan is feeling, Sebastian has hurt his little sister.

"I'm not going to do anything, I just want to make sure that he stays away from her." He stood up and started To walk to the front door. "I'm going to go out for a little bit. Can you please stay here and make sure she is safe from that bastard?" He asked begging me with his eyes.

"Yeah, of course. I'm just going to un pack my stuff in my room."

"Okay cya."Jonathan called out.

"Cya." I said as he walked out the front door into his car.

I turn around and walk down the hallway and into my room. I close the door and jump into the shower.
