Chapter 5

Jack's POV

For now everything is just perfect. I left the bedroom and I went to Maria's room. I grabbed the bassinet that was attached to her bed. When I came back in the room I saw Maria walking around with Jeremy. So I hooked up the bassinet thing to her side of the bed and I walked over to her.

"Come on Maria. Let's go to bed." She laid Jeremy in his bassinet then crawled into the bed. I joined her on my side of the bed. "Good night Maria." I gave her a kiss on her forehead. And she cuddled up to me.

Maria's POV

'What the hell is going on!' I yelled into a dark room. 'Don't worry Maria your safe. Your not going anywhere my little pet.' A deep voice said. When I looked down I was only wearing a white shirts and I was shackled to the wall. 'What do you want with me?' I yelled out into the black room. 'I want you Maria.' A door opened and man was standing in the doorway. 'James!?' 'Yeah it's me baby.' He comes closer to me. 'James stop!' He still came closer. 'James! James! James!'

I felt myself starting to shake. "Maria! Maria wake up!" I woke up instantly. "Are you ok Maria?" Jack asked me. "No. I'm not. James is after me. I can just feel it." I said snuggling into him while crying. "Sh... I won't let him hurt you. I think once my parents leave this house we should call up some of my friends." I nodded my head and snuggled into Jack then I finally fell asleep.

*The next morning*

"Maria wake up. My parents are going to be here soon." Jack said while rubbing my back. "Alright I'm up. So when are they going to get here?" I asked sitting up in our bed. "In an hour or so. But knowing my parents a good forty five minutes until they get here." I quickly got of bed and went into the bathroom.

I got in and out of the shower as fast as I could. I put on an outfit (in media bar) then I went to get Jeremy dressed. "Come on little buddy we got people to meet." I dressed him in a cute little button down shirt and jeans. I skipped on the shoes because he would just kick them off.

I walk out into the living room with Jeremy in his outfit. "Wow Maria you look amazing. But it's just my parents you didn't really need to dress up." Jack said when I came out. "I really wasn't going for dressed up so I wore my Vans." I sat down on the couch and laid Jeremy on his stomach on the carpet. "Why are you doing that?" Jack asked me. "It's so he can learn to hold his head up. As much as I love him I really don't want to cradle him anymore. He's getting heavy."

For ten minutes I sat on the couch watching Jeremy stick his hand in and out of his mouth. "You silly goose. Your hand isn't food." I said in a baby voice. I heard a knock on the door so I picked Jeremy up off the floor. "Hey Maria! Can you come here for a second I want you to meet my parents!" I walked over to the door and I was assumed into a hug by who I think is Jack's mother.

"It's so nice to finally meet you Maria. Who is this little guy?" She said letting go of the hug and she grabbed Jeremy out of my arms. "That's Jeremy, he's my little boy." I said while Jeremy was holding on to my finger with his hand. "Well he's pretty big for a little boy." She handed him back to me and went back to the master bedroom to collect all of her and her husband's personal belongings.

She came back out with their suitcases of personal belongings. "How about we sit around the dinning room table to discuss the rules ok?" I sat down next to Jack and his mom started to talk. "We don't care what you kids do just don't destroy the place. Jack, I expect you to mow the lawn and keep up with the yard work, also if anything needs fix and you can't do it yourself call your father. Make sure rent is on time. One of us will come and pick it up when it's due. Well that's all we have to say so we'll get going now." They left and I changed into some shorts and shirt. Jack did the same as I did. "You ready to move some stuff around?"
