Chapter 10

Jack's POV

When I woke up and my head was pounding. It was also dark in our room. I sat up and threw the blankets off of me. I rubbed my face and when I looked down I wasn't wearing any clothes. I searched around the floor and I found my boxers next to Maria's underwear.

I quickly and quietly slipped them on and went to the bathroom. I grabbed a little paper cup and filled it with water. I took two Advil and finished off with water. "What the hell happened last night?" I whispered to myself.

"I'm wondering the same thing too." I turned around and Maria was standing in the doorway wearing only her underwear and my button down from last night. I filled up a cup for her and handed it to her with some Advil. "Here you might want this for your head." She took the medicine and headed back to our room.

"So what do you think we did last night?" Maria asked me getting back in bed. "I have no idea. But we did do something." I said getting back into bed. "What time is it?" I looked over at my phone, "it's about three in the afternoon."

"Ugh... I need to get Jeremy but my head hurts too much." She said. "You don't need to get him right now. Just relax for now. Maybe I'll ask Jack what he thinks we did last night because he was the most sober out of all of us."

I walked out of our room and started to look around for Jack. I found him in the kitchen making some good hangover food. "Hey what's up man?" He said when he saw me enter the kitchen. "Nothing. But I was wondering, what happened between me and Maria last night?"

"How much of last night can you remember?" He asked. "Only a little bit. After my second beer things are a little fuzzy." "Well all I could hear was some moaning so I'm guessing you guys got it on."

"Fuck!" I hit my hand on the counter. "I don't think we used protection." Jack put his and over his mouth in shock. "And it's too late for the morning after pill." I shook my head in disbelief. Neither me nor Maria are ready for another child.

Nash came out in to the kitchen, "what the hell is going on?" "Nothing Nash. Do you want some breakfast?" Nash shook his head yes. "I'm going to get Maria."

I walked back to our room and quietly opened the door. I walked up to her and I started to gently rub her back, "Maria, wake up. Jack made breakfast." "I don't want to..." I grabbed her out of bed and spun her around. "Jack Finnegan Gilinsky! I swear to god you better put me down!"

"Maria Cara Emerson! I love you!" I gave her a kiss. "Now let's have some breakfast." I put her down on her feet. She started to head for the door, "hold up." I walked over to the dresser and I tossed her a pair of my flannel pajama pants. She looked down then it clicked she wasn't wearing any pants.

She put on the pants and the we headed out to the kitchen. "Morning." Maria said when we entered the kitchen. Then Cameron walked in looking very dead. "Dude you look dead." Nash said but he just sat down and put his head on the table.

Maria put some Advil and water in front of him. He took it and he laid his head back down on the table. "Dude we're all dead." Nash said sitting down with his breakfast. Jack placed some breakfast in front of Cameron and sat down with his. Me and Maria sat down and we all started to eat our breakfast.

When we were all done eating Maria's phone started to ring. So she got up and answered it, "hey mom what's up?" She walked back towards the bedrooms and I followed her. She put the phone on speaker, "oh nothing much but when would you like to come get your son?" She looked at me and mouthed 'what do you want me to tell her?' I shrugged my shoulders, "how about in a couple of hours? I have to get some errands completed real quick."

"Alright honey I'll see you at five. Just text me a meeting place." Her mom hung up and Maria headed towards the bathroom. "What you doing? We have a couple more hours of sleep left." She poked her head our, "I really have errands that need to be completed. Oh tell the guys to clean the bathroom, living area, kitchen, and dinning room."
