Chapter 13

Kelsey's POV

I woke up to the smell of bacon, eggs, waffles, and pancakes. I never usually wake up to this everyday. I got up from my bed and walked down the stairs and peaked around the corner and I saw my mom cooking breakfast in the kitchen. It was like a storm she was full of flour on her apron because she made everything from scratch"mom what are you doing?" Now this was actually really odd cause she never wakes up this early to make me breakfast"oh honey since it's a Saturday I thought well why not make some breakfast for you!" She said with a gigantic smile on her face like she was high"but" I looked in the living room and saw my phone ringing and I forgot I left it there last night on the sofa and someone was calling me"hold on a sec" I whispered to my mom with my finger in the air telling her to wait. It was destiny she was probably calling about harry"hello?" I said with confusion because she never calls this early either"omg hey I need to talk to you about the party" I heard her messing with papers in the background "ok well what is it that you need help with?" I bit my lip and paced back and forth in front of the coffee table barefoot feeling the soft rug under my toes"well I set up a limo ride with harry before y'all broke up cause I know you love to get romantic with him and all" my head started to spin and I paced faster"but I called the business place to cancel it but they can't because the appointment was final because we already paid for it so your gonna have to ride with him tonight" I couldn't stop walking back and forth in fear of what harry is gonna do when I show up in a dress again cause last time it wasn't good"can I ride with you girls? Can't he ride alone though?" I tried to make any excuse not to ride with him in a limo with slow music and that really got him in the mood!"well we set the ride with two people and they said if two people don't ride in the limo there gonna charge me extra" that made no sense to me"what kind of bull shit is that?" I waved my hands in the air with annoyance"I know because that's the same thing I said" she laughed a little. I could already feel the pressure in my head like it was being squeezed without stopping"phhhh" I blew air out my mouth and paced back and forth some more."I'm sorry Kels but I can't afford another $200" I put my hand on my forehead and rubbed my eyes"yeah I know but hey im a let you go cause I got some things to do" I whispered into the mic of the phone"hey it's ok I have to sign these papers so I can be the life guard at the YMCA" I closed my eyes and smiled"honey! Breakfast!" My mom yelled and leaned her head to look in the living room"I gotta go talk to you later" I kept a straight face like always"Mkay bye" I lifted my other hand ready to hang up the phone call"bye" I whispered and locked my phone and walked back Into the kitchen and took a seat at the table."ok hon you have two choices" I looked at her as she placed a big plate of pancakes and waffles on the table in front of me"pancakes or waffles you pick" she lended me a big fork and I poked at one pancake and a waffle and plopped em on my plate. When I was done I headed up stairs still chewing on some bacon. When I entered my room I felt my phone vibrate in my hands and I swallowed at the text message and it was from harry"baby I really need you right now I miss your touch" I couldn't believe he needed me right now when I was gonna see him tonight at the party in the club"the one night stand" and I could even barely text him what makes you think I can see him in person?"I'm busy" I texted back trying to convince him to stop texting me."ok but make sure to text me when your not busy" I texted back quickly"ok bye" I tossed my phone onto my bed and I watched it bounce on the cushion. I went into my bathroom and closed the door but I didn't notice I shut it in my moms face"honey wait!" She knocked on the door with her hand on the knob and I opened the door in confusion"what is it?" She looked in my eyes"what are you gonna wear tonight at the party?" I stared at the sink in deep thought trying to figure out what I was gonna wear to the party because that totally slipped my mind."do you wanna go to belk?" She never said she'd spend that much on a stupid dress, but I wasn't gonna say no to a $80 dress!"uh sure! But first I have to pee" I pointed inside the bathroom"oh yeah! Of course honey! You go right ahead!" She smiled and walked away back downstairs and grabbed her purse from inside my closet before she left but I had no idea how that got in there. I flushed and washed my hands and walked out the bathroom and made my way downstairs"you all set?" My mom was putting her leather jacket on that matched her leather boots"yeah" I nodded my head she let me out first and since the door got fixed last night we had a door to lock!
