The song for this chapter is Undiscovered First by Feist, enjoy!!

After an argument which caused us to learn that the Saint of Killers was following Genesis and the angel not giving in to helping us, Cassidy told us to give him 2 hours and 45 minutes, precisely.

Jesse tells me to wait in the lobby so he could talk to Tulip and possibly bring her out of her healing stage. So, this meant I was going to be alone for 2 hours and 45 minutes. I decided to roam.

I found a lot of things: old people, depressed people, and even some small children, which I assumed came to see "Ganesh" (who we learned was really Fiore and not Deblanc).

About an hour in, Jesse and Tulip run to me excitedly and tell me they're getting married. "What? Are you crazy?" I ask, looking directly in Tulip's direction.

Clearly, I knew something that Jesse did not.

I walk away, knowing that this information was meant to be kept a secret, and roam some more.

5:45pm

3 minutes left until Cassidy should be finished. I have been at the bar for a while now and feeling a little buzzed, to be honest. Before I could take another step a large man walks to me and blocks my path. "Tulip, heard she was in town," he says bluntly.

"Look dude, I don't know who you are or why you're tryin' to talk about flowers with me but—" he stops me.

"Don't act a fool with me Desdemona. Where is she?" he asks aggressively, stepping closer.

I hiccup, "I don't know dude, find her yourself! Aren't you the guardian of that freaky cult leader of yours or somethin' anyhow?" I say, trying to be funny (and clearly failing).

He punches me once right in the nose, which causes me to fall to my butt. Luckily, it didn't feel broken, but it sure was gonna be bruised. How the hell am I gonna explain that? "Fuck," I say to myself, getting up.

I trot upstairs to my room to clean myself up a little. I put on a little coverup and look good as new. I sit and check the time, noticing that Cassidy should be done now. Then, I notice banging in Tulip and Jesse's room. I run in and see Tulip standing over the body of the man who had just changed the color of my nose earlier. "Tulip—" I start.

"He already told me. I'm sorry," she says, looking down.

"It's alright, let's just get this—"

"Jaysus! What happened?" Cassidy asks.

She looks at Cassidy, stunned, "don't tell Jesse."

We eventually get most of the room cleaned up and let Tulip go to get married while Cassidy and I finish the rest. "I can't believe they're gettin' married," I say, just trying to start a conversation.

"Right, right," Cassidy says, seeming a little more quiet than usual today.

I set the trash bag in my hand down and look at him, "what did you do with that angel to convince him anyhow?" I ask.

"Oh not'in really, just what I'm best at," he answers, filling the trash bag in his hand.

"So drugs?" I ask with a giggle.

He laughs too and then nods. I wait for any further comment, but get nothing. No witty statement or joke to go along with the weird situation we were in. "Cassidy the whole Tulip thing—" I begin.

"It's not t'at," he says suddenly, "it's not important, though."

I stare at him, confused. Deciding to give up before I blow up, I pick up the rest of the trash and walk out of the room with it. If he doesn't want to communicate with me, then I'm not going to force him. He'll either figure it out on his own or ask for help if he really needs it. But I'm not sitting around and waiting for someone to open up to me, I have too much on my plate for that.
