At dinner Tex kept staring at you. Thomas made sure to stay besides you. He watched Tex carefully, looking up from his food every now and then. You did tried the most part to ignore it, considering Luda kept Tex busy with small talk. Tex soon tilted his head at you making you look up at him.

Tex grinned and turned back to Luda. Who raised an eyebrow. Thomas on the other hand gave a low growl just under his breath and glared at him.

"Say Luda, you never told me...where did this one come from?"

Luda turned towards you and nodded. You raised and eyebrow at her.

"Well. Hoyt called her in and Thomas went to go find her."

"Huh. Well Luda, I'm sorry to say this but I just might take this one home with me."

Thomas's head snapped up and he glared. His eyes became dark as her gave another low growl. Thomas did the only thing he could at the moment, and kicked Tex under the table as hard as he could. Tex swore and bent over.

"Thomas Brown Hewitt, you stop that before I send you off to your room!"

Thomas nodded and glared at Tex. Luda shook her head and Tex still gripped his shin. Luda turned back to Tex and sighed.

"You know you can't do that, Tex."

"And why not?"

"Because Thomas here already took her."

Tex glared at you, you just glared back at him. He snorted and gave Luda a confused look.

"You have to be kidding me. Him? Thomas? He actually found a girl? Wow, I'm impressed."

You glared again at his sarcasm. Thomas growled again. Luda gave a stern look to Tex and nodded, cleary not very happy about what he had said about her boy.

"Yes, he did. And if you wanna keep talking, I suggest you leave them out of it."

Thomas grunted and kicked Tex again, shaking the entire table. Luda turned on Thomas and shook her head.

"Thomas! Don't you have any work to do?"

Thomas nodded and glared at Tex.

"Then I suggest you go do it before you get in trouble."

Thomas grunted and stood up, pausing to look at you. He really didn't want to leave but he also didn't want to deal with anymore of Tex's shit. He turned and stormed out the door. The slam of his metal door echoed just moments later.

You sighed and looked at Tex, who had a grin on his face. You snarled at him.

"Something funny over there?"

Tex's face turned into a frown as he looked at you. He smirked and then gave a short laugh.

"So how long before you leave too?"

You glared at him then turned to Luda.

"May I excuse myself?"

Luda gave a nod and sighed. You stood up quickly, pushed your chair in and then walked out of the room, shutting the door behind you. You gave a loud irritated groan before opening the front door and walking out.

You flopped down on the porch steps. You sighed angrily and glared at the dirt. Why did Tex have to be such an asshole? And why to Thomas? You sat there with the warm sun hitting you as it lowered over the horizon.

You sat there watching it, the calmness of it took away mist of the anger you held for Tex. As it was close to dark, you got up and returned to the house. You walked down the hallway to the stairs. You began climbing them when you stopped. Something felt off.

You started again this time slowly. You crept up each step trying to make as minimal sound as possible. As you reached the top steps you tried to peek around the corner of the wall. You didn't see anything, yet you still felt something off.

You hit the top of the stairs and peered around. No one was around. You sighed and began walking to your room. You were cut off by a hand wrapping around your waist, pulling you backwards. You screamed and a hand covered your mouth.

You kicked and struggled as they dragged you back. You threw tour head back, hitting them in the face. They dropped you, swearing. You turned slightly to see Tex. Blood ran out of his nose as he tried to cover it. He saw you and glared.

"You bitch! You just wait til I get should of you!"

He charged at you and you flew down the hallway, flinging your self around the corner and down the stairs. Just as you hit the the main hallway his arms wrapped around you again, dragging you back.

"THOMAS!"

You let out another scream as he pulled you back.

Thomas's head flew up towards the ceiling as he heard you scream. He dropped his cleaver and grabbed his chainsaw, darting towards the stairs. He flew up them, practically ripping the door off the hinges as he kicked it open. He slid the large metal door open and ran out.

He stopped dead as he saw Tex dragging you out towards the front door. He stomped over and grabbed Tex ripping him away from you. You fell to the ground and looked up. Thomas stood in front of you. His legs were parted and he aimed his chainsaw straight at Tex.

Tex stood there glaring at Thomas. Thomas held his stance, not daring to break eye contact. He had had enough of him and he wasn't going to deal with it any longer. He wanted Tex gone now.

They stood there glaring at each other until Tex turned and walked out. Thomas watched until his truck was long down the road. He turned back to you and sighed. He reached down and pulled you up.

You looked up at him for a moment, before he led you up to your room. He stood there in the doorway watching you get ready for bed before he grunted at you and turned back. You listened to his footsteps fade as he headed back to his basement. You laid there staring at the ceiling until you gave into sleep.

Thomas continued working. He would go back up once he was done.
