*Heads up, this chapter is long as fuck. Its seriously like 2,100 words because I couldn't find a good spot to make a new chapter so have fun guys!*

Thomas led you down the hallway to the basement door. Still holding your hand he led you through the door and down the stairs. He then led you into the back room in the second half of the basement. You hadn't been in this half if the basement before but it seemed to be Thomas's makeshift bedroom.

In the room there was a desk with a sewing machine, a vanity type dresser, and a bed. There was only a center light that dimly kit the whole room, giving the area a much emptier feeling. As you.looked around yoy could see small bone fragments that had been placed specifically on shelves. You peered at them until your attention was pulled back to Thomas.

He had say down on the bed, it letting out a loud creak, and was now looking up at you. He pulled on your hand trying to get you closer. You stumbled a bit but didn't move any closer. Thomas did it again. You huffed at him and slipped your hand out of his, crossing your arms over your chest.

"Thomas...just let me be."

You turned away from him slightly, facing the corner of the room. You heard Thomas grunt from behind you. Thomas knew you were being stubborn and he wasn't going to deal with it. So with one motion he shrugged and grabbed you.

You felt his strong arms wrap around your waist and with one pull he had drug you back into him. He then sat you down in between his legs. He gave himself a satisfied nod and grunted. You sighed.

"Happy now?"

Thomas grunted again. You smiled and shook your head slightly.

"Okay then, loverboy."

Thomas gave a sigh and shrugged. He was content right there. He leaned down a bit, laying his head on your shoulder. You looked to the side and saw him looking at you. You reached up slowly and took a strand of his hair, curling it around your finger. You wrapped it around your finger and gave it a playful tug.

Thomas grunted and you let it go smiling. He moved his head slightly and nuzzled the side of your neck. When he found a spot he liked he stopped and leaned his hea against yours with his face still buried in your neck.

You thought it was sweet at first but then you remembered what Hoyt had said about you. That you were only another highway hooker, destined to end up dead or...

You didn't want to think about it. All you knew what that it was something Thomas had done and that could have been anything. You tried to think of sometjing else and soon you began focusing on the calm, steady breaths of Thomas, who had been using you as a sort of pillow. He was drifting off into his own little utopia, almost on the edge of falling asleep.

Soon he drifted out of your thoughts as you still remembered what Hoyt had said days ago. That you were nothing. That nobody needed you. That you would just end up leaving anyway. You furrowed your brows and looked at the ground. As his words replayed in your head you hung your head.

Thomas had noticed your movement and sat back up, unwrapping his arms from around you. He watched your face as you stared at the ground. You kept your eyes locked on the ground, unblinking.

"Is he right?"

Thomas looked at you for a moment and tilted his head ever so slightly. You looked back out of the corner of your eye and sighed.

"...that I'm just another highway hooker?"

Thomas shook his head and looked at the ground as well. You shut your eyes and grimaced as you felt tears come to your eyes.
