things were different between the two boys. jack was head over heels for zach and couldn't help himself. every second of the day he thought about him. but not just in a sexual way...he thought of how sweet and kind zach would be if they were a thing...

he wanted to be with zach but didn't know how to ask considering they didn't know each other that well, well besides knowing how to pleasure one another.

zach had this eerie feeling for some reason. the feeling was weird for some reason...

he had some thoughts run through his mind and he didn't necessarily like them. they weren't his usual fuck boy thoughts at all...

he was thinking about a certain somebody in ways he didn't want to. the thoughts were pure and emotional in a way and that wasn't him at all.

he hated it so much.

'i can't be thinking this i won't think this'

he thought and so he grabbed his backpack and walked into his classroom skipping his and jacks usual make out session.

"dammit zach where are you" jack spoke aloud as he walked around the bathroom waiting

zach never showed up so jack walked back to class and sat down. he didn't hear a single word his teacher spoke, seeing as his mind was stuck on a certain brunette haired boy.

a little later that day at lunch jack was sat at his lunch table with jonah and corbyn. they were in a conversation as jack played with his food and kept watch of the cafeteria doors.

daniel and zach walked in side by side speaking to one another and jack stared intensely at them. his eyes looked zach up and down trying to read him but he failed.

"jack!" corbyn snapped his fingers in front of the curly haired boys face and jack shook back into reality

"huh what" he stuttered and they chuckled

"we were saying...you're staring and it's noticeable" jonah laughed and jack blushed from embarrassment as he gulped

"oh uhm i can explain" jack spoke fast and they shrugged it off

"you don't have to right now it's fine" corbyn shrugged and jack nodded as he joined in on the conversation

zach got ready to go home that evening...as he grabbed his things from his locker he got startled as a certain curly haired boy slammed it shut almost breaking his fingers.

"dammit jack what the fuck" zach exclaimed and jack crossed his arms and stared at him

"what do you mean what the fuck? i should be asking you that herron" jack smarted off and zach scrunched up his eyebrows in confusion

"what did i do that pissed you off so bad" zach asked and jack rolled his eyes

"i let you fuck me bitch and now all of a sudden you're ignoring me? makes total sense. i guess the rumors were right..." jack walked off and zach grabbed his arm pulling him back

"huh? what rumors??" he asked worriedly and jack smirked to himself

"oh nothing it doesn't matter" jack grinned

"wait i need to know" zach begged and jack jerked his arm back and walked off humming

"avery i'm serious!" zach yelled and jack continued walking

zach was worried as hell when he got home that day. he needed to know what rumors jack was talking about. sure he's heard some but they were mostly just about things on tiktok but this, what jack was speaking about must be different.

he didn't mean to hurt jack but at the same time he did.

'i don't even care about him'
zach thought

'he doesn't even matter to me'

'he's just a hookup'

he continued thinking those thoughts to keep himself from worrying about the boy that's stuck in his mind.

but it made him think about him even more...

"besson open the door!" jack yelled as he banged on corbyns front door but didn't get a response.

he knew that corbyn was home, his car was out front and he also knew his parents weren't home so he just grabbed the key hidden under the plant pot and walked in.

he whistled as he walked up the stairs and into corbyns room, not knocking...

he opened the door and gasped when he saw what laid before his eyes.

"holy shit-" jack slapped his hand over his mouth and slowly walked backwards out of the room

"wait! jack hold on we can explain!" corbyn and jonah ran after him and he sat down in the living room

"okay...we can explain..." jonah spoke and he nodded

"it doesn't bother me i kinda figured something was going on just didn't expect to walk in on y'all making out" jack laughed and they both chuckled nervously

"wait really" corbyn laughed

"most definitely"

they contoured talking about jonah and corbyn and jack was grateful for them but it didn't help him take his mind off of zach as much as he wanted it to.

it honestly made it worst...he knew that jonah and corbyn would be exclusive soon and will be able to show one another off and be in a happy relationship and jack was well jealous...

he couldn't have that with zach as much as he wished he could he knew it'd never happen...

it hurt him a lot more than he wished it would too.

"daniel i'm serious i need to know if you have heard any rumors about me lately that don't concern fucking tiktok" zach yelled into the phone and daniel conttinued laughing

"zach buddy there are always new rumors and i'm not surprised if there have been new ones but i honestly haven't heard any lately" daniel spoke into the phone and zach thanked him and hung up

"dammit avery" he cussed the boy out in his head knowing he wouldn't hear it

'what the hell am i going to do now?'
