it was the last day of school before christmas break started. the supposed 2 in a half week break from school was hopefully gonna be fun and not boring. jack was beyond excited for the break, he couldn't wait to sleep in late and stay up all night, and of course be with zach more.

the friend group was sat in the library eating some candy they had brought from the vending machines earlier. they were supposed to be in 4th block but they decided to ditch since it was the last day.

"1...2...3" corbyn tossed the m&m towards jacks open mouth missing and leaving it to hit his nose. corbyn was laid between jonahs legs as jack was with zachs. daniel was sitting alone on the couch.

"that's the 5th one corbyn...how pathetic" zach laughed grabbing jacks hands moving them around in the air for fun.

they continued joking around having to try and stay quiet from the librarian but of course they failed. the bell finally rung signaling it was now the end of school...christmas break time.

the boys jumped up grabbing their things and scurrying out of the library and to their lockers to put their things away.

they then ran outside and to their cars deciding on where they were going. dairy queen, by daniels suggestion.

jack turned on the radio playing, fine line - harry styles

it was his favorite album as of the moment. he and zach loved the singer.

"fine line...we could be a fine line" the curly haired boy sung along to the music blasting through the speakers. zach couldn't help but admire the adorable boy...he then sung along as well.

they finally made it to dairy queen where they all got out and walked inside and ordered their food. jack and zach both got chicken strips and fries, basic but they loved them. while the others got some sort of burger and fries.

"so what shall we do today?" daniel asked as he sat down with his meal "i was thinking we could go back to one of ours and watch movies" corbyn suggested "or we could go christmas shopping since none of us have started yet" jonah added "we could go shopping then later we could come back and watch movies" zach suggested and jack nodded...they all agreed on that plan.

after they ate the regular meal jack begged for icecream so each of them got milkshakes or sundaes. they spread out into jonahs and zachs cars and left the parking lot going towards the mall.

"so Christmas shopping?" jack spoke up "it is december 18th so of course i need to get the presents" jack chuckled to himself "have you not done any shopping?" zach asked glancing to the boy as he steered "uh...no..." jack sighed "jackkk...." the brunette drug out the 'k' "what? im going now aren't i?" he replied and zach laughed at him.

they finally made it to the mall and met up with the other three boys. zach had already gotten jacks present, it was slightly expensive but also he hoped jack loved it. he still needed to buy the others presents so that's why he'd be doing. jack had an idea for zachs present but needed help. so he went off with corbyn while daniel and jonah went off with zach.

"i have an idea for how i'm going to tell zach..." jack spoke and corbyn gasped before the boy told him. "that's sweet, he'll love it" corbyn awed and jack smiled happily.

corbyn bought jonahs gift and the other guys as did jack before they all five met back up at the food court.

"so we all done" daniel asked and everyone nodded. they then went back outside and got in their cars heading to zachs house.

they watched the polar express and elf before they all fell asleep.

"so how are we celebrating this year?" jack asked the next morning when everyone was awake "well corbyn and i are spending christmas at one another's...then we expected to come over here afterwards" jonah replied "i'm going to my grandparents then was planning on coming here" daniel chuckled "so i guess that night is when we're sharing presents" zach laughed and jack hugged him from the side before kissing his cheek "can't wait"

later on they ate and talked before the guys left. jack stayed and sat on the bed waiting for the brunette to come back from the restroom.

he walked in and smirked at the curly headed boy "c'mere i need snuggles" jack mumbled with grabby hands and the brunette crawled on the bed wrapping his arms around the boy laying his head on the boys chest.

jack wrapped his arms around the boys shoulders "youre my favorite person you know" jacks breath tickled the boy's neck "so are you" zach lifted his head staring at the boy fondly. he then leaned down pressing a soft kiss to the boys lips letting it linger afterwards.

zach stood up grabbing the boys hand pulling him along. "where are we going?" jack asked smily "you'll see" zach smirked before he brought them outside and around the house to a metal ladder leaning on the house.

he climbed up it making it on to the roof. he stared down at the brown eyed boy laughing as he stared back shocked. "come on jack" he groaned and jack sighed before shakily climbing up the thing.

he sat next to zach on the roof leaning into him and interlacing their hands together. "isn't it amazing how our hands align when your hands in mine?" jack asked and zach smiled at him before caressing the pad of his hand "it is actually...but look up there." zach pointed to the night sky as bright stars stared falling...

"oh my god bub" jack awed as the meteor shower fell across the sky. jacks eyes held admiration and as zach stared fondly at the boy. "it's beautiful" jacks voice was soft spoken "you're beautiful" zach whispered and jack glanced back at him as zach cupped his cheek and their lips connected for a slow passionate kiss. when they pulled back jack leaned onto the boys shoulder as he laid his head on top of his curls. they continued watching the shower as the night fell.

they finally came down and laid in zachs bed cuddled up as they fell asleep. soft snores escaped jacks lips as zach played with his hair and kissed the boy's head.
