at lunch the next day zach was walking with daniel considering he was late to lunch. jack and corbyn and jonah were already eating...

"dani" zach mumbled and blonde tipped boy stopped. "yeah z?" he asked and zach looked up at him. "i told jack i loved him and i'm pretty sure it's messed us up" he mumbled and daniel gasped

"you told him what!!??" the taller boy was highly confused, he couldn't believe zach told jack he loved him when they hadn't even been properly together that long.

"it just slipped out...i was walking him inside and we said our goodbyes and then i told him..." zach sighed...he wanted to go back and not say it but he couldn't do that.

"have you talked to him about it? have you even talked to him today?" zach rocked back and forth on his heels before looking back up. "no...in our class we have we didn't look at eachother and paid attention to our work.

"dude, go in there and talk to him oh my gosh" daniel pushed the brunette into the lunch room causing him to stumble. "hey jack can i speak to you outside" the boy played with his rings and jack nodded before standing up. daniel sat down and explained what happened to corbyn and jonah.

they stood in the bathroom looking at eachother before zach finally spoke up. "okay i know you told me you were gonna wait to tell my those 8 letters and i fully understand and respect that...but like did i make you upset or weird you out?? please tell me if what i said makes things weird between us" zach sighed. he was beyond nervous for what jack was going to say.

"no no no...it didn't mess anything up. i'm just confused that's all. like, i don't understand how you can love me, and know you do..." the curly headed boy mumbled the last few words.

zach stepped closer to jack and grabbed both of his hands... "baby, how can i not love you. you're the light of my life. you're smile is overwhelming, you're personality is beautiful. you show me you love me in more ways than words. you never gave up on me even when i blocked you off...you brought me into your life when you didn't even want to. i love you because you're you. i love you because you're my bestfriend even if i've known you for you...only a short time i feel it in my heart i belong to you" his heart was beating fast and his cheeks were heating up. but he smiled and made jack feel safe.

tears brimmed the smaller boys eyes as he engulfed zach into a hug and rocked them back and forth. "i- i- i don't know what to say" he softly cried "you don't have to say a thing, i understand" the brunette spoke softly to help him calm down.

that same bathroom where they first kissed also brought them closer with the 8 letters...

they walked out of the bathroom hand in hand going back to the lunchroom and they sat down. jack leaned his head into zachs shoulder as he rubbed his arm up and down the curly haired boys...

"how did it go?" daniel spoke up "it's okay" zach whispered as jack softly fell asleep on his shoulder... "that's good" they continued a quieter conversation as zach softly played with jacks hair keeping him in a peaceful slumber.

it was the end of the day and zach and jack were laid in bed back at jacks house...they weren't speaking just in a peaceful silence. zach was making shapes on jacks palm as the boy had his eyes closed listening to the music playing softly in the background...harry styles that is.

"i wanna go on a date" jack spoke up disrupting the peace "okay...i'll take you on one" zach grinned and jack shook his head "no..i have a plan...it's gonna be a secret but just know i have a plan" jack smirked and zach chuckled a bit before nodding "mkay i'm ready whenever" jack smiled "good." they then went back to what they were doing as jack thought about the idea.

he had a full plan he was going to do very soon and was more than excited...

"it's late i better get going" zach looked down at the boy that laid in his lap. "do you have to" jack pouted and zach nodded before he cupped the boys cheeks and leaned down pressing a kiss to his lips...them both smiling into it. "can you please stay the night" the curly boy begged and zach sighed "fine...but just tonight"

they changed and laid down in the bed. zach held onto jacks middle pulling him closer as he kissed his cheek and they snuggled into one another peacefully going to sleep.

zach definitely wasn't ready for jacks plan.
