ELIANA

     I covered my face with my arm as I felt sunlight attacking my eyes then I became comfortable—making me go back to dreamland.

     "Hey, wake up." Someone whispered disturbing my sleep, I chose to ignore it and went back to sleep.

     "AHHH!" I screamed as I felt coldness embrace my body. I looked around and saw the culprit holding back her laughter.

     "Sorry, I needed to wake you up or else we'll be late to school." It was Ashley.

     I glared at her as I got up, not wanting to soak the bed. "What time is it?" I asked

     "It's 7:35." She replied making me rush into the bathroom. This is why I hate Mondays.

     I quickly showered and brushed my teeth but I realized I didn't bring my clothes, I'm so forgetful. I went inside my room and rummaged through my drawers to find decent clothes. I settled with pants and a black t-shirt. I took my towel off of my body then I heard a gasp behind me. I looked behind me and I immediately wrapped myself with the towel I recently removed.

      I quickly grabbed my clothes and went back to the bathroom. I wore my clothes and went back to my room, feeling embarrassed.

     "Uh, sorry you had to see me naked." I said.

     She let out a shaky laugh and stood up, "It's fine, let's go?" she asked, "Yeah, uh, let's go." I said before getting my bag. "Nice ass by the way." She said before leaving the room, making me feel more embarrassed. Of all the things I can forget, why did I forget she was in the room? Aish!

     "Hey, are you coming? We're going to be late." She said with her head peeking inside the room.

     "Coming." I said and put on my shoes.

      We arrived 5 minutes before the bell and took our schedules already since Ashley's a grade higher than me we don't have any classes together. I helped her get to her first period so she won't be lost.

     "Wait for me here after first period, okay?" I said so she won't be having a hard time navigating her way around school.

     "I will. See you later." She said then smiled at me before going inside the room.

     I waited until she sat down before rushing to my first period. It's not that far from her room but I only have a minute or 2 before I'm late.

      "No running in the hallway." Someone said.

      I looked behind me and I'm glad because it's my teacher, "Sorry Miss, I was afraid I'll be late to your class."

     "Oh, didn't recognize you there Eliana. I'm right here so no need to rush." She said making me smile.

     "Thank you Miss." I said then proceeded to walk a few steps ahead of her.

      There's only one seat available and it's next to the window, awesome. I sat down and leaned on the window.

     "Good morning, I am Ms. Brienne Lin Santera. Your English Teacher and I only have two rules for everyone to follow, one is to always listen to the discussion and two is to always have fun but not too much fun, I don't want anyone to spend their time in detention." She said before checking the attendance.

      I said present after my name was called and after that I listened quietly to the discussion. I looked at my surroundings and noticed that someone's new here, I haven't seen her before.
