7 | cute morning dates before training

ELIANA

     I woke up really early today because I didn't want to be late for our new training schedule. Ashley and I decided to get coffee before training starts so I'm currently waiting for her outside. I put on a jacket with a tee underneath and sweatpants since it's freaking cold. I checked my phone for the time since Ashley's still inside and oh, it's almost 4:10 a.m. Let me text her, she told me she's done showering earlier.

     I texted her.

     Hey, I'm already outside. Where are you?

     She replied to me seconds after I texted.

     I'm putting on my shoes, give me a sec.

    
     She finally showed up after a few minutes. I waved at her and smiled.

     "I'm sorry for making you wait. I might've fallen asleep for a few minutes." She said as she reached me.

     I shook my head, "It's fine. Let's go?"

     She nodded and we went to her car. We both put our bags on the compartment and I hurriedly went ahead of her to open the door.

     "Still getting used to this." She said and laughed softly.

     I chuckled and went to the passenger side and entered the car.

     "There's a convenience store close to school, let's go there so we won't be late." I told her as it was nearing 4:20 a.m.

     I leaned on the door and stared at her with a smile on my face. We decided to not rush anything yet and test the waters first. We also agreed to go to school together since we both have the same training schedule. I'm gonna be seeing her almost all the time which is great.

     "Don't stare at me." She said making me smile wider.

     "Why?"

     "I'm shy." She answered quietly.

     I laughed, "You're shy?" I asked again in which she answered with a nod. I leaned closer to her and put a stray hair behind her ear. "You don't need to be shy around me, just be comfortable."

     "Su-." She cut herself off with a yawn.

     "There's the store, we really need to get you coffee."

      She nodded and yawned again making me chuckle. She parked near the entrance and hurriedly got out of the car. I smiled as I watched her go around the car and opened the door for me. I got out of the car and thanked her. She smiled while I offered my hand for her to hold. She intertwined our fingers and lead me to the store.

     There was only one person inside besides the cashier, probably because it's so early. We approached the mini coffee bar with the donut bar next to it. She went to get donuts while I got us our coffee.

     "Do you want the glazed one?" She asked.

     I glanced at her, "Yeah, what kind do you want? There's latte, americano and mocha."

     "A latte, please."

     I got us both medium sized cups, I put her cup in the machine first and pressed the button for latte. I waited for it to fill the cup and looked at Ashley getting donuts. She's reaching for the glazed ones who are at the very back and as if she sensed me staring, she looks at me and smiled then pointed at the coffee machine. I smiled and looked at the coffee machine and her coffee was done so I put my cup in and pressed mocha.
