ELIANA

2 weeks had passed since Carla's birthday and a few things have been pestering my mind like the fact that Blake and I's relationship had turned rocky. She opened up some wounds that haven't healed and eventhough I was kinda drunk then, she hurt me pretty badly. Then I got my driver's license earlier than I expected so I can drive comfortably without being anxious of getting pulled over. You see, I drove my car around without a license and my aunt doesn't know I don't have one so I basically got away every time.

There's also the drunken kiss that Ashley and I shared. I don't remember much but that particular event has been bugging me ever since. I never opened the topic with her because she might've forgot or brushed it off as us being drunk. Maybe I should just forget about it, but I have a feeling she's also attracted to girls. It's a gut feeling or better yet it's my gaydar. I laughed in my mind, remembering that I'm still in class.

"I want you to write a poem about something or someone you like, I want you to write it freely, to be passed on Friday. This will serve as your test with a passing score of 85 out of 100." The teacher said before dismissing us. I should start writing since it takes me ages to finish anything related to writing, I tend to procrastinate a lot.

As I exited the room, I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket. I take it out and saw Z's name so I immediately answered the call.

     "Hey, what's up?"

"Hey, I just called to tell you that P.E's cancelled."

"Really? I was in my way there when you called."

"Really, there was a paper taped to the room saying that there was an emergency meeting."

"Ah, okay. So where are you?"

"I'm at the parking lot, how 'bout you?"

"I'm going to the library to write the poem we were assigned earlier."

"I'm heading to The Coffee Bean, why don't you meet me there and I'll help with you with that poem."

     "Sure, I'll meet you there."

I hung up and made my way to the parking lot. I saw Ashley waiting for me by the car. She was facing the other direction so I slowly approached her. "Hey." I whispered. She jumps in her place which made me laugh so hard. Her reaction was priceless, her eyes looked like they were going to pop out of her sockets.

"Yah! You almost gave me a heart attack." She said, slapping my shoulders while giving me her death glare.

I take her hands so she would stop slapping me and gave her a kiss on her cheek, "That's the proper way of attacking hearts, love."

"Tss!" She said, rolling her eyes then went inside the car. I chuckled at her reaction and entered the car too.

I drove us out of the parking lot and towards the direction of the cafe. I searched for a decent station in the radio and soon enough the tune of 1950 by King Princess filled the car. Ashley's being so quiet, did I really make her mad earlier? Shit! Maybe I did.

"Hey, I'm sorry." taking a look at her then back to the road.

I heard her scoffed at what I said and I instantly felt bad for what I did. I wonder what's wrong, she's never like this when I try to scare her. Wait, is it her period? I think it is. I smiled to myself then glanced at her.

"It's your period, isn't it?" I asked her.

I saw her look at me from my peripheral vision, "How'd you know?"
