Sunday

I got the kids dressed and ready to head back to their moms house. This weekend made me realize so much.

One, that I need therapy to help. Two, that I may or may not have figured out that Jack wants kids. And three that me and Jack need to communicate more.

"Okay lets go" I smiled. I saw Mitchie look at Jack and gave him a tight hug and possibly shed a tear. Jupiter and Ruben ran over to him and said their goodbyes.

"Alright I'll be back in a few hours. I have some running around to do after I drop them off" I informed Jack. He nodded his head and smiled.

I closed the door behind me and buckled all the kids in. I drove to Nicoles house and dropped the kids off.

I told Jupiter to tell her mom I had some running around to do so sorry I couldn't come in. I smiled at them and drove off.

Now, to therapy.

"Hi are you a first timer?" The woman at the front desk asked me.

"Uhm yes, was it that obvious?" I chuckled.

"You seem really nervous, we can fit you in today but I'm going to need you to fill out these forums for me" she whispered.

She handed me them and I signed my name at the top. I decided I wasn't going to use a fake name. I'll just ask them if they don't call or email or anything.

I rolled the forums out which took about an hour. Since I was a first time client.

I handed it to her and she told me to give her about 10 minutes and she'd send my therapist out to let me know when to come in.

I sat there waiting patiently, about 10 minutes passed by and I heard the door unlock and a very tall and gorgeous black woman came out.

She was absolutely beautiful. Her hair was in tight curls that stopped at her shoulder and it was a sort of afro shaped. Her complexion was a beautiful dark brown and her skin was glowing from the light reflecting onto her face.

"You must be Cristina" she held out her hand and spoke in a very soothing voice.

"I'm Helene" she chuckled. I didn't say anything and followed her back to her office.

I let the door close and I sat down in a chair right beside her desk.

"Okay, where do we start?" She breathed.

"Okay, well I'll see you back here..." she paused and waited for me to answer her I guess.

"Oh uhm whenever you can" I beamed.

"Hon, thats what therapy is, we work around YOUR time." She giggled.

I smiled quickly and nervously. "Uhm I'll make an appointment"

I rushed out of the building and hurried to my car. I sat in there and stared at myself in the mirror. I sat there and breathed. I barely told her anything. I mean it was my first time seeing and talking to an actual therapist.

"Shit" I hit my steering wheel.

I felt so numb but I had everything bottled up inside still. I didn't tell the therapist shit.

I just shook it off and drove back home. I hated driving in Jacks car, I wasn't used to it but I kind of had to get used to it since we're still working on finding my car. I haven't heard anything about the car or Samuel.

Maybe this therapy thing isn't such a good idea. It doesn't work for everyone.

I picked up my phone and dialed the offices number and asked for Jack. "Hi can I speak to Mr. Gilinsky this is Cristina" I chuckled.

The woman on the phone asked to hold. She then transferred me to his office line and I heard his voice. "Hey Cristina, what's the matter?" He wondered.

"I was just uhm asking if you were maybe up for a date, somewhere, anywhere actually" I bit my lip. He stuttered but quickly answered, "uhm uh I get off in about an hour or two so I'll see you back at the house?" He asked.

"Or I Can just see you at the restaurant I choose" I dimpled hesitantly.

"Okay, that sounds like a plan. I uhm I gotta go but I love you" he rushed. He hung up before I could even say I love you back.

I had a gross feeling in my stomach.

He- he wouldn't, not after last time.

I rushed home as fast as I could and checked the time. It's only 4:30, I've got time to shower, shave and get dressed all nice.

It's been awhile since we've went on a nice date like this. One where we aren't going to a diner and dressed casually. I'm ready for drinks and dresses. I just hope he's up for it too.
