Chapter 17

Jungkook sat with the divorce papers in front of him .He had his lawyer draft them up for him.He had decided never to step foot in Seoul again no matter what the reason was .

"Are you sure this is what you want. You are mad at the moment but you will come to regret this. "his father asked 

"Dad,what's with you and Taehyung. Why are you so fond of him? "

"I don't see a reason not to.He is.a nice guy "

"As if"Jungkook said as he placed his signature on the document. Afterwards he gave the document to his lawyer.

"I will call him and let him now that you will be coming. Just make sure he signs it and let me know "

"Okay "

"What can I possibly say. You are a grown up.Jungkook and it's your life "

"Dad don't start "
What could be worse than this. He had quit his job and getting divorced. To simply put it,his life was falling apart,well not entirely since he was the one who chose to get divorced.

Calling Taehyung sounded tempting but he decided against it. He didn't know how he would react after hearing Taehyung 's voice. Maybe he would tell him that the whole divorce thing was a joke and he would take the next train home to him.

So he decided to text him.

Jungkook
Hie, my lawyer will come to your place with the divorce papers. Please don't  make things harder than they already are.

Taehyung didn't reply but he called instead .Jungkook immediately declined the call while trying so hard to fight back tears.

Taehyung
Kookie please answer the call. I just want to hear your voice one last time .

Jungkook
I can't I'm sorry .

After that text Taehyung found himself getting blocked.

That night  Jungkook cried himself to sleep .Everything was getting too real and scary as hell. After two days, Jungkook 's lawyer called and said Taehyung had finally signed the papers and he had put in a petition to the court.

Jungkook was suprised at himself when he burst out in tears after hearing the news.He was supposed to be happy wasn't he? He felt so horrible in a  way that he couldn't comprehend. He was sad ,broken and mad at himself. Was his pride and ego worth more than his love.

Somewhere else.

"What are we doing here. We look pathetic "Hoseok started as he was at the cocktail bar with Yoongi.

"No we don't. We are having a vacation after a bad life experience. Nothing wrong. We are having the best cocktails Jeju has to offer. "Yoongi said.

"That's called running away .Have you gotten in touch with Jungkook or Namjoon .I feel sorry for the both of them "

"We were all fooled but Jungkook and Namjoon turned out to be the victims of it all. They didn't deserve any of it"

"I just want to get hold of that short and squeeze him to death. How could he think of shooting a detective. And that Taehyung, I hope Jungkook gives him what he deserves "

"Aren't you getting too personal? "

"Bro ,we are unemployed "
