Confrontation

I woke up the next morning by Bennett telling me that we have to go to our family gathering thing. I went to my bathroom and looked in the mirror

And boy did I look bad. The bruise was huge. The cuts looked like someone cut paper with a knife. And there was a small bump forming on my right cheek.

I got dressed and went downstairs and saw everyone already eating and talking. Except for Katie. I put my hood up not wanting them to see my face. I got my food and sat down at the table. "Take the hood off you know the rule." Mason said.

"Just let the guy slide for now Mason." Bennett said. "No he knows the rules do he has to follow them. Hood. Off." Liam said. I took my hood off and looked at them.

"What the hell is on your face?!" Benjamin said getting angry. Everyone looked at me and trust me they are pissed. Questions were being thrown left and right. "Guys let him breathe." Bennett says walking over to me. "Aren't you angry at this Bennett." Mason says to him. Bennett just looks down. "You knew!?" They all yell in unison. "You guys were gone and he was the only one at home." I tell them.

"You didn't even call us Bennett. Not even me?" Benjamin said looking almost disappointed. "Benji -" Bennett couldn't even finish his sentence. "When did this happen?" Liam said facing me. "When I went to Wyatts-" I was about to continue when Elijah cut me off. "That kid is bad news he's 13 and still in 7th grade." "Don't say that. Mason was almost left back so why the fuck is this different." I said. "Watch your language or you'll get soap in your mouth." Liam said. "Mason almost got left back for failing a class. Wyatt was left back because he got expelled for a year for putting a kid in the hospital." Elijah said. "What!?" Liam said.

"You should see his brother-" Benjamin was about to continue but Bennett cut him off. "Benji I'm warning you not another word." "What's the matter Bennett I can't tell them that you go around tagging shit with him?" Benji said. I knew that Bennett was bisexual but the others didn't. I also knew he had a crush on Conan. "And should I tell them you lost your virginity at 14 when the rule is not until your 16." Bennett says.

"Okay, one issue at a time." Liam said. "Who hit you Noah." He said. "I don't know it was dark." I told him. "If I find out your lying you'll be in huge trouble. No hanging around Wyatt till school starts and no being out the house at night for the rest of summer unless one of us three are with you." He says to me. "Come on that's not fair." I said angry. "It's punishment for what you did at breakfast."

"Bennett you are not allowed out of this house past 7:30 and if we catch you your grounded. And no being with Conan." He told Bennett who was about to object but saw the glare he was getting and shut up. "Benji no parties for 3 weeks if we find out you'll be grounded for the whole school year. Also no girls." Liam said looking to him. "Am I clear?"

"Yes sir." The 3 of us replied.
